It is an information-sharing platform that is scalable and relevant to all actors in a product value chain who seek greater insight into the chemicals and materials they use to manufacture their products. Material IQ accomplishes this by aggregating third-party verified human and environmental toxicity data for an array of materials used across product types and industrial sectors.

Material IQ also functions as a one-stop resource by providing key sustainability attributes and compliance information, which can be used to report against relevant standards and ecolabels.

Each material profile includes:- Comprehensive, third party-validated hazard evaluation of all

ingredients for a material.- Hazard data to demonstrate compliance with numerous

ecolabels or standards that include material health requirements or commonly used banned or restricted substances lists.

- Supplier-provided data for other key environmental indicators (recycled/renewable content, water use, process energy, CO2e, RECs or carbon offsets, and other certifications).

- Full profiles of supplier companies with information about technical specifications, corporate sustainability initiatives, and other documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets and other technical literature.
