You want to be endorsed by your connections and you want to reciprocate endorsements to your connections. Ask people to Endorse you, it is very acceptable.

You don’t have to turn on Email notifications as you will be logging into your LI account daily and you will be able to see them in your profile.

List as many as possible (without stretching the truth) – this is not the place to by modest!Make sure you put the most important ones first, they are the ones that will show up at the top and what people will endorse you for most (you can rearrange the by draging).

• You MUST have a professional Profile Picture in place. To add it, simply click on the picture and select the photo you want to upload.

• A suitable background photo is also recommended, keep it clean and professional. To add it, click the “Edit Background” link.

important facet on LinkedIn• Invest in building your

network of connections, grow it constantly, enlarging it as much as possible.

• 1, 2 & 3 levels of connections create a powerful network of connections that can reach millions of people.

Adding Connections

• Adding connections to your network through your email software (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail or any other email program) or by uploading a list.

• Select your email program, enter your password and LinkedIn will import them into your network.

LinkedIn finds the people in your contacts that are already on LinkedIn and enables you to add them to your network. You can Select All or add them individually.

LinkedIn also points out the people in your contact list who aren’t on LinkedIn and enables you to invite them to join LinkedIn. You can Select All, invite them individually or Skip this step.

Summary• Build a Strong Profile – don’t skip any parts, reach All Star level.• Be Active – log into your profile daily, update it when needed,

add connections daily, ask for endorsements and recommendations. Endorse and recommend others in your network.

• Join Groups – find groups that are relevant to your industry, join them

• Contribute – to the groups and discussions, like, comment and share posts and updates of people and companies you follow.

• Network – is the name of the game! Add connections daily…• Download – the app is very useful, use it daily on the go!
