SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
September 15th
, 2019 – Year C
WE ARE ALL SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF OUR MERCIFUL CREATOR GOD. God the Father shows remarkable mercy to us when we stray from following him. When we sin, we are called to repentance and to accept God’s gracious mercy. By the same token, when others stray, we are to welcome them back when they repent. We are all sons and daughters of the same merciful Father.

50th
Anniversary of the Blessing and
Dedication of St. Agnes Church
Please join us for our Anniversary Mass with celebrant and homilist, Bishop Douglas Crosby on
Saturday, November 2, 2019, 5:00 pm. This will be exactly 50 years to the date of the blessing and dedication of St. Agnes Church. A time
of fellowship will follow Mass in the Parish Centre with a light meal of hot hors d’oeuvres, wine & beer and various finger foods. We would also like to commemorate this day with many displays of pictures that have been taken throughout the years. If you have any photos of events that occurred at St. Agnes (eg. Wedding), please contact the parish office. We will scan your photo and return it to you. We will also be opening the TIME CAPSULE that has been sealed away! Did you put something in it? Wonder what it could hold? Make sure to attend the party for the big reveal! If you can lend a hand in any way, we can definitely use your help – can you decorate, help prep food, set up or clean up – many hands are needed to make this historic occasion a success! Call the parish office and let us know how you can help!
