Locations With nearly 500 hotels in nearly 60 countries around the world, Marriott Hotels & Resorts are located in city centers, suburban locations, at airports and resort destinations.

Target Customer The business achiever who is out there to do their absolute best every day; 77% male, mean age of 43, with 53% generation X/Y; travels for business 18 trips/45 nights per year, and for leisure four times per year.

Hotel Services Marriott Hotels & Resorts Marriott Hotels & Resorts feature multiple restaurants with world-class cuisine; state-of-the-art fitness centers and health clubs; swimming pools; concierge services; business centers; Club Floors (Concierge or Executive Level); room service and laundry/valet service. Many also offer world-class spas and championship golf. In 2005, a new bedding ensemble and guest room were introduced throughout Marriott International.

In-Room Amenities The new Marriott guest room was inspired by the Park Lane Marriott in

London. The style conveys timeless sophistication that is warm and inviting with ample use of rich cherry wood and yellow and red tones. The look is clean and crisp with simple forms, straight lines and uncluttered surfaces. Upscale touches create a sense of luxury and comfort with more stone, glass and chrome finishes. All new rooms are equipped with:

• Luxurious 300-thread-count sheets

• Freshly laundered duvet covers and euro shams

• Plusher mattresses with 3" mattress topper and three sleeping pillows

• Decorative bed scarf

• Flat-screen LCD television with 30-watt acoustically perfect speaker systems

• Enhanced audio options and connectivity data ports

• Custom designed pivoting desk and high-back ergonomic chair

• High-speed Internet access

• Elegantly appointed bathrooms

• Custom line of aromatherapy bath amenities

• Work desks with emphases on task lighting for work

• Two telephones in each room with data ports

• In-room coffee and tea service

• Iron and ironing board

• Hair dryer

• Shower-only baths in new rooms

Other standard offerings include a complimentary morning newspaper (Monday – Friday), in-room delivery of faxes and messages, and Marriott’s signature At Your Service 24-hour on-property customer assistance line. With one call, guests at most Marriott Hotels & Resorts can access all hotel services. Specially trained associates handle guest requests ranging from room service to housekeeping, concierge, bell stand, business center, laundry/valet service, the hotel restaurant(s), recreational activities, engineering, wake-up call and directions to local attractions.
