Vertical, single-stage, with axially split casing, arrangement inline of suction and discharge branches, and supported for bearings outside the casing.Pump, type SIMS distinguishes by its robust design, smooth running, great economy, long working life as well as easy maintenance and operation.Clockwise rotation.
Volute casing
The volute casing is split along its center line and has replaceable wear rings, suction and discharge connections inline.The axially split casing permits easy control of all interior parts and rapid removal of the rotor without dismantling neither the pipelines nor the drive motor.
Bearings
Shaft supported in amply dimensioned. Grease-lubricated antifriction bearings on the drive-side.
Range of Capacity
Capacity Q up to 1000 m3/h.Head H up to 120 mSpeed n up to 1750 r.p.m.Temperature t up to 90 ºC
Impeller
The impeller is of single-suction design, closed and hydraulically balanced with relief bores near the hub.
Shaft seal
For the shaft seal, install mechanical seal, of marine type.
Applications
- As main and auxiliary sea cooling water pump.- Fresh cooling water pump for cylinder, piston and nozzle cooling.- Bilge, ballast, fire.- General service pump.

Same size nominal in bore suction and discharge.
Coupling of three parts.
