DESCRIPTION

The Journal of Marine Biology & Oceanography (JMBO) promotes rigorous research that makes a significant contribution in advancing knowledge for marine sciences. JMBO includes all major themes pertaining to organisms in the ocean or other marine or brackish water bodies.

Marine biology

Marine biology is the scientific study of creatures and vegetation that live in salt water. When many people think about a marine scientist, they picture a dolphin instructor. But marine chemistry is so much more.

The oceans covering over 70% of the Worlds surface and offering environment for a large number of varieties, marine chemistry is a very wide field.

Microscopic Life Cycles

Invertebrates such as jellyfish, sea anemones, ctenophores, sea viruses, molluscs, sponges, and tunicates usually recreate intimately, although some do recreate asexually.

The planktonic atmosphere is very essential for the life periods of most of these creatures where they live during their larval levels.

Marine Plant Life Cycles

The life-cycle of a place is multigenerational. Each place begins with a spore that germinates and produces into an patient, known as a gametophyte which makes its own gametes.

The life-cycle is finish when the sporophyte efficiently generates spores. Fungus, demonstrations, and vegetation have this multigenerational life-cycle, which is also termed as an alternation of years.

Bacteria versus Multicellular Organisms

Viruses go through a haplontic life-cycle where only one creation of haploid tissues have one set of chromosomes.

Many multicellular creatures with a one generational life-cycle have a diplontic life-cycle in which tissues have two places of chromosomes.

Plants periods are termed as diplohaplontic because they create from the gametophyte to the sporophyte.

FishesSeafood can have a range of lifestyle periods where all levels of development take position in a small restricted area like a lake or a flow to lifestyle periods that take position over thousands of miles from sources to sea and back to sources.

Some varieties of fish, particularly those in the deep sea, have larval levels remarkably individual from the teenager and adult stage.

Like sharks, sea animals also recreate gradually and give birth to some young.
