LOT 19:

TYRES: Front - 6.50 x 10 Bridgestone Pneumatic. Good Virgin tyres with 50% remaining tread both sides. Rear - 5.00 x 8 Bridgestone Pneumatic. There are a couple of minor cuts on the side walls but basically sound. 10% remaining tread both sides.

OPERATORS AREA: Tidy. There is a 150mm long rip in the seat backrest - otherwise ok. Plain painted dash panel is presentable with a single gauge and warning lights all intact. Controls and steering wheel tidy.

EXTERIOR PANELS: The bodywork around the forklift is mainly tidy with no notable rust to report. There are a few shallow dents in the lower RH side panel but no other damage. The paintwork has seen better days with numerous scrapes and scratches and some areas of surface rust becoming established.

FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Two stage mast measures 2550mm high (lowered) with 900mm long x 130mm wide forks. The mast sections and chains are well greased with no excessive wear notable. There is 5mm of play in the tilt ram rear eyelets and moderate wear in the tilt ram forward eyelets. With the mast fully raised the forks are 4000mm from the ground. A manufacturers label shows the capacity to be 3000lbs at 24inch load centre. 1360kg at 609mm load centre.

MECHANICAL: The engine is work dirty with a fair bit of oil dampness around the head which looks to be coming from the rocker cover gasket. Takes a good amount of winding to cold start and coughs and splutters for a while. Once warm the engine seemed to run ok with a clean exhaust emission. Forward, reverse, steering and lift functions all operating as expected. There is an exhaust leak somewhere around the muffler which is located beside the RH rear wheel. Also a minor hydraulic oil leak at the control bank below the RH side of the dash. The forks back-board has aslight kink at the top LH corner.

GENERAL: This is a well used older forklift that is starting to show its age. Runs a bit rough but still looks capable of earning its keep in some applications. There is a basic pipe frame with a slat roof to protect the operator from falling objects.

LOT 20:

One standard 20 foot ISO shipping container in tidy condition. There are a few minor dents along the lower sides in places but no rust or major damage to report. Reasonably clean and well painted inside and out. Nice and dry inside. Very good condition galvanised door latches. Doors open, close and seal well. A few minor dents on the rear wall.
