This course was designed in such a manner that it started with the session on constitutional provisions with respect to levy of service tax and introduction to various statutes, Rules and other enactments and thereafter, every subsequent session went to the root of every part of levy of service tax. Under the scenario of increasing need for the educational programme on Service tax, it was not to the surprise of Association that the number of enrollments received for the said course reached to 169. The specialised course was organised jointly with the Malad Chamber of Tax Consultants and was inaugurated by CA Sunil Gabhawalla.
