Making a Chocolate CakeBy Room 3

Miss Carolyn showed us what to do

We put butter and sugar together.

We mixed them until they went creamy

We sieved the flour

We weighed the flour and cocoa and sieved them together

We added cocoa to the flour.

Ethan cracked an egg for the cake.

We had to break four eggs.

we put the eggs and flour and cocoa mixture in to the butter and sugar mix

We cut out the baking paper to fit in the trays

We cut paper for two trays.

We poured the mixture into the trays

We spread the cake mixture flat

We put them into the pre-heated oven

We melted chocolate for the top and made icing for the middle.

Sidney cleaned the bowl.

Tiaki cleaned the icing bowl.

We waited for the cake to set.Then we ate the cake.
