PRODUCTION PROCESS

The production process includes four activities. These are as follows:

1. Cutting2. Stitching3. Reversing 4. Printing

1. CUTTINGThis is the first step of production. In this the rolls of PP are cut into different sizes according to the quantity and demand.

2. STITCHINGThis is the second step where the pieces that were cut of different sizes are stitched in the form of carry bags. These bags are also laminated in this process.

3. REVERSINGIn this step the laminated bags prepared are reversed for those customers who require the laminated portion inside. This is an optional step as per the demand.

4. PRINTING This is the final step where the bags finally prepared are sent for the printing process. Different stamps are used in printing the names of different firms as per the order.

FINISHED GOODS There are around 1,00,000 bags produced in

a day without printing. And with printing the number varies with the time taken in printing process.

The cost per bag varies from Rs 1.80-20.
