Cut 52 pieces of 8ft lengths of cotton rope. 3. Fold a piece of cotton rope in half and tie a reverse larks head knot over the gold hoop. 4. Repeat step 3 with all 52 pieces of rope. 5. Starting on one end tie a square knot using 4 ropes. 6. Continue using the remaining ropes to tie 26 square knots. 7. Begin tying alternating square knots, take two ropes from two knots and tie a square knot. 8. Continue tying square knots all the way across, in this row there should be 25 knots. 9. Repeat step 7 and 8 tying your third row of alternating square knots, continue this pattern until you have 30 rows of knots. 10. Trim the end of the ropes to about 3in in length, then attach the second hoop to the macramé by taking 2 ropes at a time and tying a revers larks head knot. INSTRUCTIONS

1. Gather tools and materials.

2. Cut 52 pieces of 8ft lengths of cotton rope.

3. Fold a piece of cotton rope in half and tie a reverse larks head knot over the gold hoop.

4. Repeat step 3 with all 52 pieces of rope.

5. Starting on one end tie a square knot using 4 ropes.

6. Continue using the remaining ropes to tie 26 square knots.

7. Begin tying alternating square knots, take two ropes from two knots and tie a square knot.

8. Continue tying square knots all the way across, in this row there should be 25 knots.

9. Repeat step 7 and 8 tying your third row of alternating square knots, continue this pattern until you have 30 rows of knots.

10. Trim the end of the ropes to about 3in in length, then attach the second hoop to the macramé by taking 2 ropes at a time and tying a revers larks head knot.

11. Take the two ropes over and around the hoop and then back up between the two ropes, pull tight.

12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 with all of the ropes.

13. To secure the macramé take both ropes from the first knot and one rope from the second.

14. Tie these ropes together in a knot.

15. For the second knot and all remaining but the last take one rope from each knot, tie them in a knot

16. Tie the last knot the same way you tied the first with 3 ropes..

17. Glue the exposed ropes under the macramé and out of sight, trim the ends as short as possible.

18. Cut two 4ft pieces of cotton rope

19. Fold the ropes in half and tie them around the two hoops in a square knot, the hoops act as your Filler cords and the ropes are your working cords.

20. Tie 19 square knots then trim ropes end to about an inch and tuck the end back into the square knots.
