The machine offers outstandingcapabilities for the sewing of sports shoesand leather shoes that require a widerzigzag width. The zigzag width can bequickly and easily adjusted by the dialmounted on the front face of the machine.

To ensure smooth sewing of heavymaterials, the lift of the presser foot isas high as 14 mm (13 mm for the LZH-1290-7).

By reducing the frequency of bobbinthread replacement, the newly introducedhorizontal-axis double-capacity hookcontributes to increased efficiency insewing. This feature is extremely helpfulwhen sewing with thick thread.

LZH-1290With its newly incorporated triangular cam, the machine uniformlytenses thread in zigzag strokes regardless of the needle position,and the needle always enters the material at right angles. Thisprevents the needle from swaying during zigzag stitching.

The machine tenses thread uniformly over the zigzag stroke to produce beautifully finishedstitches at a high speed. With its extended zigzag width, higher presser foot lift, and newlyintroduced horizontal-axis double-capacity hook, the machine upgrades the functions requiredfor the sewing of heavy materials. Equipped to handle a wider range of thread counts, themachine also delivers improved abilities for the sewing of decorative stitches and overedging.In addition, the AC servo motor/controller for the model with the automatic thread trimmer hasbeen fully reconfigured to provide higher motor power and quicker actuation, thereby ensuringsmooth operation.

● OptionalThe pneumatic auto-lifter comes in two different types: the knee-switch type (AK-112C) and thepedal-switch type (AK-145B). Select the type best suited for the applications of your machine.

The machine's uniquethread trimmer mechanismallows the thread trimmerto cut the thread when theneedle is either at the leftor right end of its zigzagstroke. This mechanismalso eliminates the need foradjustment even when thethread count is changed.

The machine is equippedas standard with a one-touch reverse feedmechanism. With just apress of the touch-sensitivebutton, the machine goesinto reverse feed stitchingmode. The touch-sensitivebutton is mounted at aposition where it won'tinterfere with sewingworks.
