BPN it used to be a private bank, but was nationalized by the Portuguese Government in 2008 after a bad management and malpractice-related debt of 1.800 billion euros and several irregularities uncovered in the institution. PARVALOREM is set up to deal with the problematic assets of the nationalized Banco Portugues de Negocios - BPN Lx FACTORY – Catumbel – companies from the Mainside SGPS Holding. All loans from BPN to buy the Lx Factory space and to do all the constructions works. This loans are now with Parvalorem. Weirdly neither the government, the media or the population mention the Lx Factory in this Portuguese financial scandalTRANSCRIPT
