Mindful MeditationMindfulness is an ancient practice that has been modernized to help people learn to focus more on the present and spend less time worrying about the past or future. Meditation can help a person feel calmer, handle pain better, forgive mistakes in self and others, feel more gratitude, accept change better, play more, and take more risks. We will learn sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and more. We will follow “A Clinician’s Guide to Teaching Mindfulness,” by Christiane Wolf and J. Greg Serpa. The book is not necessary to benefit from the class.

INSTRUCTOR: Gayle Cuddy - [email protected]. Gayle has been meditating for many years, attended many meditation retreats, and taught meditation classes. She has a MA in Counseling.
