When We WentWhen We Went

My family took me to Vietnam on the Christmas holiday. When we were there we visited a coffee plantation and a cricket farm.

We visited the coffee plantation first.When we were there we learned how important coffee was to Vietnam.

To make coffee they had to pick the bean off the tree and then let it dry so it could turn black (it went from green>red>black).

After it was black they either put it to a machine to make it into coffee or they gave it to a weasel to digest and then poo it out.

We went to the cricket farm last. When we were there they offered us some crickets. Me, my mum and my sister said no but my dad had three!!

We also saw about one million real crickets. The owner also told us what the crickets ate: leaves, shrubs and flowers. My favourite part was when we got to feed, pet and cuddle the dogs the owner owned.
