Venue Access Venue access is permitted two hours prior to event start time for set up of band/DJ, AV equipment and flowers/styling. If the space is available during the day then an earlier time may be arranged.

Parking There is a 68 space car park underneath The Olsen, which operates 24 hours a day. Valet parking is $38 per day, self-parking is $30 per day/$8 per hour (max $30 per day). Please note car parking is limited and not guaranteed. Pre-paid parking tickets available on request.

Public transportThe Olsen is conveniently located with Zone 1 of Melbourne public transport system. The hotel is located just 550m to the South Yarra railway station that services the Sandringham, Frankston, Pakenham and Cranbourne lines. Alternatively you can take Route 78 North Richmond – Prahran and Route 8 Moreland – Toorak.

Wheelchair AccessThere is wheelchair access to Level 1 and the John Olsen Penthouse via the lift, B1 and B2 car park. Stair access is available from Level 14 to Lake Eyre Penthouse. There is no wheelchair access to Lake Eyre Penthouse.

Noise RestrictionsAll entertainment must be approved by our wedding coordinator.

Deliveries Deliveries must be clearly marked and directed to the events department. Please note our storage is limited at The Olsen so all equipment must be taken with you on conclusion of the wedding unless previously arranged.

Linen, Decorations & FlowersVenue hire includes black or white table linen and napkins for your event and is set on round tables seating 8-10 guests. Flowers and other decorations are not included and are to be arranged by each event at their own cost. Please refer to our preferred supplier list for recommended contacts and inspiration.

Audio VisualThe Olsen has an in house PA system with iPod connection plus a complimentary microphone for your use. Please advise your wedding coordinator if you wish to have access to this equipment. Please discuss your requirements with us for your particular needs.
