Dausgaard, Principal Conductor of the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Chief Conductor Designate of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Designate of the Seattle Symphony, also conducts his own orchestrations of selections from Brahms Hungarian Dances and Liebeslieder Waltzes. The program concludes with Mozarts Symphony No. 41 in C Major, Jupiter, the composers final and longest symphony. Pressler, founding member and pianist of the Beaux Arts Trio, has established himself among the worlds most distinguished and honored musicians with a career that spans almost six decades. Now, in his ninth decade, he continues to captivate audiences throughout the world as performer and pedagogue, performing to great critical acclaim while maintaining a dedicated and robust teaching career.Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO), ranked among the worlds top musical ensembles, marks its 50th anniversary in the 2017-18 season.
