It is a pleasure for me to recommend Marcus Jonesi as a hard working, intelligent man of integrity who I

relied upon to help me in a number of operational, administrative, financial, and lT areas. I believe thatany organization would benefit by having him on their leadership team, as he brings arare combination ofstrategic thinking, paired with penetrating analytical skills and an eye for detail.

I sought out Marcus and asked him to join me in April 1996 and we worked together until July 2002. My

hope in hiring him was to leverage myself, allowing him to run the dayto-day operational and

administrative aspects of the business and freeing me up to focus on business development and project

management.

Marcus improved our office operations flow plan, financial reporting and billing processes. He introduceda Windows NT and Exchange server environment set up in our Houston, Austin, and Washington DC

offices that allowed for file collaboration long before that was "the norm" and gave us state-ofthe-artemail and communications systems. We were early adopters of Palm Pilots, and then, of Blackberries,which gave us a competitive advantage over many of our slower moving rivals. He installed a Peachtreeaccounting system that allowed us to track revenues and expenses by project, and which also ensuredthat we billed our reimbursable expenses back to our clients. And, he developed a combination of paper

and imaged filing systems which dramatically improved our ability to find documents quickly.

Marcus is very adept at multitasking with insight ability to prioritize and achieve completion of varied taskstimely.

Marcus is a very fast learner, and can quickly become a subject matter expert in areas in which he haspreviously only had limited (or no) exposure. He is willing to take on anything that needs to be done,

exhibits a tireless work ethic, and is flexible, versatile, tremendously loyal, extremely competent, andgood natured.
