What to do in London during Springtime
Finally the sun has arrived in London!! Spring has sprung and whilst it might not last, we’ve no
time to wonder about that. London is one of the beautiful places on earth during spring month
definitely witnesses a change of pace in the city. April’s sweet showers herald the start of
warmer and a host of outdoor events for Londoners and visitors alike shedding their sweater
and enjoying the longer days. The best things to do in London in the spring sunshine.
Parks and Gardens
London’s green spaces looks their Best in spring. Eight Royal parks of London looks so
magnificent during springtime. Hyde Park is today a bustling open space with its winding
serpentine lake, famous Speakers’ Corner and plenty of places to stop and smell the roses. St.
James’s Park and Green park where hundreds of yellow flowers covers the Lawn. By the time
daffodils have faded roses have taken their places, with the rose garden’s in Regents Park and
Greenwich park are the perfect spots to treat your Eyes and Nose.
Sightseeing Places
Many of London Properties are re-opened their doors around springtime after being closed for
the winter. Beautiful Ham House in the southwest London is a perfect example of early 17th
century house design while 2 willow road in Hampstead showcases the work of Modernist
architect Erno Goldfinger.

London Home and Garden Show
Date: 15th April -17th April 2016
London Spring Home and Garden Show is Southwestern Ontario’s largest and most
comprehensive home, renovating, gardening and lifestyle show where you can find fresh &
innovative ideas from the ultimate showcase in indoor and outdoor living. 330 professional
exhibitors , Stage seminars, demonstrations, celebrity guests and other special feature displays
of flower show, Design center, latest interior and exterior designing technologies and many
fabulous prizes.
The Feast of St. George
The Feast of St George is held in famous Trafalgar Square on April 23 in celebration of St.
George’s Day ― a national day of feasting that dates back to the 13th century. With a bevy of
traditional English cuisine on offer from a variety of market stalls, visitors to London can take
the opportunity to celebrate like the locals do. If a sit-down affair is more your cup of tea,
banqueting areas surrounded by the famous fountains of the square are also available. A
variety of live performances, cooking demonstrations, and games are available, making this
event suitable and enjoyable for the whole family.
Spring Festival in London
Spring Festival 2016 is on from April, 20th until April, 23rd and April, 27th until April 30th. The
Spring Festival at Bavarian Beerhouse runs two weekends only, in Tower Hill and Old Street.
There is a £5 entrance fee which applies for Fridays and Saturdays (Wednesdays and Thursdays
are free). This £5 includes a shot of Jaeger, a table reservation and great live music.

open every Saturday (with some stalls open on Fridays too) and whether or not antiques are
your vintage bag, the atmosphere is buoyant, flamboyant and not to be missed. And at
the London Farmers' Market, any amount of seasonal produce can be bought, all produced
within 100 miles of London.
