What is LDS Account?

Your LDS Account provides you with a single user name and password to access all church websites. One of the befits of having an LDS Account is that it uses your membership record number to access information about your calling, location, ward, and family.

Why do I need an LDS Account?

Today the experience of the web is more interactive. You are not limited to just reading websites. In fact, many websites contain applications within the browser, and the information these sites deliver is personalized to your identity and role.

For example, on lds.org you can now sign in and view your ward directory and calendar. You can access resources specific to your calling. You can view church buildings and sites near your location. Theres even a study notebook where you can highlight passages and create journal entries.

With an account a person can view the calendar or Directory for their Stake and Ward; if there is a calendar set up for an auxiliary for which that person has a calling they can create events for their auxiliary. Individuals can also have a personal calendar on the website to keep track of personal events. Also available is a read only version of the calendar or directory on your personal computer (Outlook, iCal, Thunderbird) as well as your smart phone (iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry).

What websites are using LDS Account?

FamilySearch.orgLDS Jobs (lds.org/jobs)

New.FamilySearch.orgLDSTech (tech.lds.org)

LDS.orgLDS Maps (lds.org/maps)

Directory (lds.org/directory)Mormon.org

Calendar (lds.org/church-calendar)Online Store (store.lds.org)

Leader and Clerk Resources (lds.org/leader)YW Personal Progress (personalprogress.lds.org

Study Notebook (lds.org/study-tools)Duty to God (dutytogod.lds.org)

Its About Love (itsaboutlove.org)LDS Youth (youth.lds.org)

Your LDS Account gives you access to all of these resources and more.
