Little Prince and Princess Fair Contest

The Monroe County Fair Little Prince and Princess Contest will be held on

Sunday, of the Fair, at the Exhibit Building on the Monroe County

Fairgrounds.

Check-in time for ALL AGES is 4:00 p.m. The contest will begin at 4:30

p.m. Pre-entry is strongly encouraged. If you need to fill out an entry

form it is recommended that you arrive 45 minutes before the contest

time.

GUIDELINES FOR CONTEST

1. The Little Prince and Princess Contest operates under the General Rules

and Regulations governing the Monroe County Fair.

2. Each contestant will be judged on personality, natural appearance and

beauty. In addition, five year olds will be judged on talent.

3. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT AN ENTRY FORM BE FILED WITH THE

MONROE COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE BY MONDAY, the week of the

fair . PLEASE MAIL OR DELIVER ENTRIES TO: MONROE COUNTY

EXTENSION OFFICE, 219 B Ave West, ALBIA, IA 52531.

4. Parents of the contestant must have lived in the state of Iowa for six months

prior to the contest date.

5. Each contestant may be dressed as desired. NO MAKEUP WILL BE

ALLOWED. Contestants will not be judged if this rule is ignored. Pageant

dresses are accepted. Prince contestants may wear suits, casual wear, or

dress pants.

6. Awards will be presented to the winner in each age category. All

participants will receive participation awards.

7. Three and four year olds will be accompanied on stage by one adult. Five

year olds will walk on stage unaccompanied by an adult. Talent must

conform to facilities. Each contestant is responsible for supplying their

appropriate chosen props.

8. There will be no passes to any contestant or parent. For more information
