mOduLe 1 is designed to impress on learners the importance of developing strong observation skills as well as having an open approach to the design process.

mOduLe 2 introduces learners to ‘working’ details which are used to create the shape and volume of a garment, as well as to the fundamental principles that underpin the relationship and compatibility of fabric, detailing, silhouette and trend.

mOduLe 3 introduces learners to proportion as well as basic design detail terminology. You’ll also learn how to create a specific mood through suitable design elements, with a focus on fabrication.

mOduLe 4 introduces learners to the practice of visual storytelling with a focus on translating source imagery into relevant design elements through written and expanded visual associations.
