Housekeeping and Laundry
Director of Housekeeping and Laundry for a department of 20 unionized FTEs, staying within my $620,000 budget. Safety Coordinator and Manager of daily operations of Housekeeping/Laundry Department. Providing a clean and comfortable environment to 300 residents and staff following all infection control standards.
Manage inspections, maintain adequate supply level, coordinate construction, services of floor care, painting, window cleaning, carpet replacement and furniture repair or replacement.
Technical/Office Skills
Working with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.) regularly. Creating spreadsheets and re-vamping templates already put in place.
Superior communication skills (oral and written). I have had plenty of experience handling telephone communication, email communication, radio communication, and verbal whether it is through official meetings or one on one interaction with co-workers as well as customers.
Through years of experience I can work with problem solving on the spot. When given a problem I can come up with solutions to fix it while multitasking to get regular duties done as well.
Experience working with Payroll systems. I have handled payroll for multiple employees under my supervision.
