  • A little bit about me.A long-time Puget Sound resident and serial entrepreneur, Lisa Hjorten

    specializes in the sale of homes and investment properties in King and Snohomish Counties. Clearly her calling, Real Estate gives Lisa an outlet to

    serve others in an industry that is her true passion.After graduating from the University of Washington, Lisa began a long and successful career in the technology industry. Over the years, she ran multi-

    state sales organizations, co-founded and served as CEO of Pacific Edge Software in Kirkland, and founded the software company, Informia.

    In parallel with her technology career, Lisa bought, sold, remodeled, and developed properties for profit and pleasure. She has lived in or owned

    properties in nearly every area of King and Snohomish County. She served as her own contractor while building a 6,000 square foot home in Kirkland and later renovated a nearby cottage in to a 3,800 square foot home. Shes also developed properties into builder-ready lots including a 12-lot plat in

    Woodinville and a 6-lot plat in Bothell. Lisa recently started a Mailbox Money investment program that she believes can be an effective retirement strategy - for her clients as well as herself. Lisa currently owns and manages over a half

    dozen investment properties and is always on the hunt to add another to her portfolio.

    Lisas personal real estate ventures have endowed her with great design and project-management sensibilities and nurtured her long-standing

    relationships with home-service providers. She is a great resource for clients in need of last-minute repairs or staging services and she can identify cost-

    effective improvements that will sell a home for top dollar or turn a fixer into a dream home. Lisa believes in giving back to her community and does

    so by serving on the advisory board of the UW Foster School of Business Entrepreneurship Program. She frequently mentors student teams and

    participates as a judge and coach in business plan competitions. Lisa is also an avid supporter of Earthcorps, Haiti Babi, Kiva.org, and Homeward Pet. .
