Kia Ora (greeting in NZ Maori) & Welcome to the David Trubridge Seed System lighting collection. David’s work is closely linked to patterns found in nature where he spends much of his time. Working in balance with nature is very important to our company and we are constantly improving our design and manufacturing process to further reduce our environmental footprint. Seed System designs are only made possible through your involvement as you ‘grow’ your kitset into a light. Together we have helped to minimize the effects of freighting, to reduce the number of trucks on the road and decrease the design’s environmental impact.

- Seed System fixtures on this page ship as kitset with instructions and links to assembly videos.

- Bamboo plywood is the predominant material and sourced sustainably.

- Fixtures are fastened together with nylon clips (note: Coral, Floral and Snowflake 1600 use aluminium rivets).

- Specification sheets available online for full technical details.

- Kitsets are, on average, 1/30th of the volume of the same assembled light.

- Lamp/bulb not included. Please refer to our website for recommendation.

- All lights other than aluminium are intended for dry interior use only.

- Larger fixtures are supplied with suspension wires & hardware.

- Single socket electrics are included with the vast majority of the range.
