Electrical conductivity is denoted by the symbol σ and has SI units of siemens per meter (S/m).

Conductive thread is a fabric which can conduct electricity. Conductive threat or textiles can be made with metal strands woven into the construction of the textile.

Diode is a two- terminal electronics component with asymmetric conductance; it has low (ideally zero) resistance to current in one direction

LED a Light-Emitting Diode

• Diode that glows when electricity passes through it.

• Current to pass in one direction only. The cathode is normally indicated by a flat side on the casing.

• The anode is normally indicated by a slightly longer leg.

• The current required to power an LED is usually around 20 mA.
