• Assisted Freshmen English class with mythology reports on the gods and

goddesses.

• Completed the MAP testing in the library with Mr. Schiedeman’s freshmen

English classes. We had minimum library traffic during testing times; however,

we did remain open for computer check out.

• LHS Library Teen Advisory Group, currently consisting of 10 high school

students and sponsored by Ms. Lehman, established the following yearly goals:

Get students more involved in books & reading; Be more active in future

selections for the library; Generate and promote book reviews on the library

website, blog or Facebook page

• Began sorting and labeling fiction books into genre types. The following genre

sections have been completed: Science Fiction/Fantasy, Mystery and Graphic

Novels. We hope to complete the remaining sections by the end of October.

• Creation of book bundles were started with the assistance of a high school

library TAs. Book bundles are 3 books that are bundled together based on a

common aspect, such as similarity in setting, cover images or character types.

Bundles will be placed on display for checkout before the end of October.
