Lew Jewett Chapter joined the Upper Midwest Council in supporting the Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters to oppose sulfide-ore copper mining in the BWCA region.

Fly fishing in 3 Minnesota State Parks are open until 12/31/2016: Beaver Creek Valley, Forestville, Whitewater (catch & release only)

Brule open until Nov. 15 for Steelhead, north of U.S. 2
