Hello Win. I’m glad you are here. Do you know what we are doing today?

Eh.. what are we doing here? Hahaha I’m just kidding. Definitely, today we’re going

to eat something together.

That’s right. But today, let’s say we are going to drink! The reason why we are here at

Juti Anusorn Road because we are going to review famous Bubble milk tea or Boba

milk tea from 5 shops in Hatyai.

Bubble milk tea or Boba milk tea is becoming popular in Thailand, especially

Taiwanese bubble milk tea.That may be resulted from the influence of Taiwan in these

days. Bubble milk tea is a common drink in Taiwan and it now becomes famous

around the world.

Look! We can see people are drinking it everywhere.

Well, Patty. You know there are many bubble milk tea shops around Hatyai,

especially on this street. Let’s start with the first shop. Go ! Patty.

Patty and Win walk to the first bubble milk tea shop where is behind of them.

People are standing in front of KINCHA for waiting bubble milk tea. A few merchants

are making various drinking ordered by consumers.

Now, we are at KINCHA store which is one of the most famous bubble milk tea shops

in Hatyai. Most of customers are high school students because this shop is located

near tutor center.

WIN

To be honest, when I was a high school student. I often came here for tutoring but I’ve

never tried the bubble tea from this shop before.

PATTY

We can see from the top of the glass here. It’s sealed very well, and this is logo of

Kincha. I think this brand also got influence from Japan not only Taiwan because of

the brand’s name. Kincha is Japanese word. Kin means gold ,and Cha means Cha.

WIN

How about its taste.

PATTY

I don’t know. I’ve not drunk it yet, Win.

(Win looks at the glass with his attention)

PATTY

Before drinking, we should shake this glass first so that the milk, bubble, and tea can

mix well.

( Patty shakes and starts drinking)

PATTY

(Sucks boba tea from the straw) It tastes like milk and tea.

WIN

Of course,it’s milk tea!

PATTY

It’s not too sweet even if Win ordered 100% sweet. I can smell the tea from it and the

bubbles are sticky and give me the smell of brown sugar.

WIN

This turn, we’re going to Rin Rin store which is not far from the previous shop that we

went to.

Hey Patty, I’ve heard that you’ve been to Taiwan where the bubble milk tea was

originated, Why don’t you tell something about bubble milk tea there.

PATTY

Right, When I was there, I tried many stores!! And you know what, they were

delicious every store!! We can order how much ice and sweetness we like. Their milk

tea smelled so good and really fresh. The bubbles were so tasty and chewy. But they

didn’t fill the ice cube as much as in Thailand even if I ordered 100% ice cube, they

still gave little. Anyway, It’s all good and It was a nice memory in Taiwan.

Oh! This looks great. You can see the unique style of this shop because you cannot

order the drink with the salesperson directly but you have to call by that phone.

Yes, the steps to order are up right there. They are ; first press the button in the middle

of the telephone and it will ring. Second, Pay money there. and third step, recieve your

bubble milk tea there.

WIN

I think it is not bad but the flavor of tea is not strong enough. The bubble is a little bit

chewy.

For me, I think the milk is not very in high quality and the bubbles are not chewy

enough. But you know guys, It’s only 19 baht and 5 bath for adding bubbles, so it is

very cheap. the quality and price make sense.

PATTY

For those who don’t have much money or don’t want to spend much money on boba

milk tea. RinRin is the best choice for you!

It’s a bit different from other shops because it has unlimited bubbles for consumers.

You can grab the bubbles as many as you want.

It tastes good. I get strongly tea flavor but milk flavor is quite mild if comparing with

Taiwan’s one. Overall, it’s acceptable. What about you, Win?

I think it’s OK. It tastes delicious. Bubbles taste good chewing. I think black bubbles

looks most delicious. It doesn’t look tasty if you add bubbles too much.

Now, we are at Siam Nakarin near Hatyaiwittayalai school or Yorwor. And what we

have here, Patty?

PATTY

There’s the almost first bubble milk tea shop in Hatyai here. Have you ever heard

about T&TEA?

WIN

Ummm I think I have but I’m not sure.

PATTY

I drank it first time when I was 16 years old. Yorwor students love this store so much

because it was near the school. Then when we have free time we always were here.

This shop really reminds me of high school memory.

Here is T and Tea bubble milk tea shop. I’ve first tried when I was Matthayom 4. Now

I know that it’s normally like other stores. The bubles are good, maybe better that

others. But they have to increase the milk smelling. Anyway, overall it’s good. (raised

Win, Do you know what’s FUKU MATCHA meaning?

I just know only MATCHA is green tea in Japanese, but I don’t know FUKU.

Actually, I don’t know neither hahaha

Umm I think they give lots of bubble, I’m so tired for chewing. I feel like I’m a

In my personal, I like this store, The smell is so good, there is the smell of milk too.
