At ethiXbase we view corporate corruption as a growing threat, and for this reason created the Ethical Alliance, a global community of companies and individuals dedicated to anti-corruption compliance, corporate transparency and ethical business dealings.

The Ethical Alliance helps organisations and professionals mitigate reputational risk, promote knowledge, anti-corruption compliance and ethical business dealings. We help organisations improve relationships and processes with employees, clients, suppliers, partners, shareholders and regulators.

With over 30,000 associate members the Ethical Alliance is a rapidly growing initiative. Membership is open to individuals, organisations, chambers of commerce and industry associations, as well as government bodies.

Recommendations to Strenghthen Singapore Anti-Corruption Compliance Eco-System

• Firms in Singapore need to step up anti-corruption measures and be better informed of corporate anti-corruption initiatives to develop a rigorous approach to compliance.

• Leading firms should export & communicate ethical values and codes of conduct into newer markets.

• Firms should weigh potential cost of losing business against potential cost to reputation should corruption be discovered.

• Organisations, academics and industry groups should collaborate to share best practices

• Culture of proactive sharing can benefit all organisations in this region

• Enact whistleblower protection laws

• Providing monetary rewards for genuine whistleblowers
