ABOUT
Camp Kesem – Changing the Lives of Children Affected by a Parent’s Cancer
Camp Kesem (CK) is a network of free, college-student led summer camps and support circles for children ages 6-16 whose parents have or have had cancer.
At CK, kids find a critical support circle to manage this frightening and stressful period, while college students develop critical life and leadership skills as they plan and manage every aspect of their campus program.
With camps at 41 campuses in 2013, we will expand to 53 campuses by summer 2014.

CampKesemchaptersarefoundedbytheiniSaSve,commitmentandentrepreneurialspiritofvolunteercollegestudentswithapassionforhelpingothersandadesiretoacquiretheleadershipskillscreaSngCampKesemprovides.InaddiSontodemandingacademic,workandsocialschedules,studentsdedicateonaverage10‐15hours/weektoCampKesemastheycommittoayear‐longposiSonmanagingeveryaspectoftheircamp–andthengiveonefullweekduringtheirbusysummerstocreatetheCampKesemexperienceforthechildrenofcancerpaSents.Todate,CKhasengagedover3,800studentleaders,andwillhaveanother500bythe2013Summit.
