BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

ADVANCED LIFE

SUPPORT

This type of ambulances are ICU equipped such as Ventilator, Defibrillator, ECG, Fluid and drugs, Gauze parameters with full medical care team - Emergency Medical Officer / Doctor, ICU Technician and Paramedic staff .

Basic life support is a level of care that is concerned primarily with monitoring and maintaining a patient's vital signs during the medical transport such as:

•Airway•Breathing•Circulation

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)

• This ambulance is an AC TAVERA and provides transportation of the patient needed for such basic services as Control of bleeding, Splinting fractures, Treatment for Shock, First Aid.

• BLS ambulance is equipped with stretcher, linens, oxygen, life saving emergency medicines addition to emergency lights, sirens, and telecommunications equipment.

• The staff include one paramedic staff and one supporting staff.

• General patients transport/ Non-emergency patient transport.

• Transport to local hospital for Radiology and Radiation appointment.

• Hospital discharges.

• Visit to physiotherapy and Dialysis appointment.

ALS AMBULANCE - Staff

The ALS vehicle provide complete medical care with the following team:

• Doctor (Emergency Physician)• ICU Technician• Paramedic Nurse• Attendant

The Emergency physician are trained who are usually working in the city’s ICU and Emergency department and are adequately experienced to handle all kinds of Emergency conditions.

ELIGIBILITY FOR USE OF AMBULANCE

• A patient who has to be transported on a stretcher or wheelchair.

• A patient who is mentally visually or orthopaedically handicap and cannot use public transport.

• Require oxygen or ventilator during transport.

• Suffering from infectious, where is chance of spread in public transport.

• Require an attendant to move around.
