PROFESSIONAL PROFILEHighly organized analytical professional with superior goal setting, decision-making, and problem solving skills. Strong ability to identify problems and develop corrective action plans for resolution. Able to develop complex troubleshooting plans, post modification/maintenance test instructions and Preventive Maintenance basis.

EDUCATION2002-2007 – Alabama A&M University, Normal ALB.S. of Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY – BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT, DECATUR, AL

Component Maintenance Optimization (CMO) GroupMaintenance Engineer 2014 – Present Develop Component Health Reports to aid in prioritizing plant maintenance and modification activities by providing

effective communication of system and component condition, performance and trends.

Increased Equipment Reliability by developing Long Term Asset Management (LTAM) plans to address component obsolescence in safety and non-safety related operating systems.

Develop troubleshooting plans to support emergent or sensitive plant issues, complex troubleshooting task, or assistance requested from Operations and Maintenance.

Review, trend and evaluate test data/measurements collected during preventive and corrective maintenance activities and bench testing performed during initial installations to ensure component reliability by proactively predicting and correcting degraded performance.

Present areas of concern regarding low margin in critical component functions or characteristics to the senior management team and provide recommended actions to mitigate failures and maintain component and system reliability.

(Power Generation) Nuclear Electrical System EngineerCircuit Breaker Program Owner/Relay Program Owner 2007 – 2014 Qualified as the Primary Circuit Breaker Component Engineer and Circuit Program Owner, providing Browns Ferry

Nuclear Plant (BFN) with the necessary leadership, decision making guidance and technical expertise on circuit breakers to establish and maintain high levels of equipment reliability, performance, cost efficiency and safety

Provide input to online and outage schedules, including prioritization and logic; identifying the need for Preventive Maintenance (PM) based on performance, history, vendor recommendation, and industry Operating Experience (OE); provide technical justifications for deferrals/cancellations of critical PMs

Lead over a $8 million project which replaced 250 GE type AK Circuit Breakers with Square D Masterpact Circuit Breakers. Responsibilities for the modification included reviewing the design, determining the scope, developing the schedule and directing the implementation.

Develop Corrective Action Plans to identify the cause(s) of equipment failures documented in internal condition reports or external operating experience and develop corrective actions that will correct the condition and prevent recurrence.

Developed Technical Instructions which governs the BFN Circuit Breaker Program. The technical instruction includes the roles and responsibilities of each department, preventive maintenance basis and frequencies for each type of circuit breaker utilized at BFN and technical justification for each PM frequency.
