Welcome to LMAP 2014! Artist Guidelines

Welcome!

This is the start of A Second Season of Beautification for LMAP! in Lansdale. What was a completely new undertaking for town is now an established program that people are eager to talk about! Thank you, for your interest in becoming a part of this exciting endeavor.

Applicants are welcome to submit sketches, photographs and or completed works for consideration. There is no experience required, and no practice in place, that will keep your work from being viewed or for it to take priority.

Everyone has an equal chance! Opportunities for the work to be shown will be many and the Committee and the building Owners will have a say in narrowing down the pieces for the final selections in keeping with their own tastes and sensibilities.

As the project grows in popularity, the hope is that other avenues and venues for the work will be realized. This may mean additional murals, gallery space or other shows.

Guidelines:

Do not send originals – Once submitted, work will not be returned. All work will be entered into a pool to be placed under consideration.

Do not send more than 5 images per series, per piece. Digital images - should have the following specifications: jpg with .jpg extension, RGB color, and

1240 pixels X 12 maximum in size Naming work – Last name, First initial of first name and number of image ex: Jonesp-01.jpg Color printed images are to be on 8.5 X 11 paper and labeled. ex: 1 of 5, 2 of 5, Last name, first

initial of first name, title of the work and date
