Nowadays, money has been one of the most important things for the world. Many people ask to themselves why money is important, and it is only one answer, money help us to do payments, to buy too many things that are necessary for us.

Money is anything that is commonly accepted by a group of people for the exchange of good, services, or resources. Every country has its own system of coins and paper money.

In this section of the magazine, you will find some tips, problems that people have with management money, and some solutions that help you to use your money in a correct way. 2

HISTORY OF THE MONEY Money has been part of human history at least, for the last 3,000 years. The first man that started with the treatment of money was Aristóteles, who thought that money has 2 uses; the first that is the natural or the initial use and the second is the use that other people would like to give to the money.

Why money management is important to your life?

One of the biggest steps toward leading an independent life is financial independence. This means taking control of your money, of course, the money that you earn and the money that you spend.

Money is necessary to live and live well in our society, but you don't need a lot of money to be independent, successful, and happy. You do need to know how to manage the money you have and make it work for you. 5

10 Common money management mistakes that you’re probably making

1. Getting a big tax refund each year

You try to save your money in this way, but you do not know when you pay in this way you have to pay more in your taxes.

Consequence:You spend more money paying the annual fee than a mensual fee of your taxes.

You cannot measure your money in the things that you spend.

Consequence:You just spend in the things that are not necessary, and the moment that you have to pay your bill you don't have the money.

2. Having only a rough idea in your head of where your money goes

Most of the time you spend a lot of money in holidays, you don´t remember that you have more expenses.

Consequence:When you spend your money in holidays, most of the time you forget your accounts.

You spend more money in things that are unnecessary in your life, you just spend money because you only want to buy something.

Consequence:In the moment that you really need the money you don't have it because you have already spent it .

Most of the time you pay with a paycheck and you forget to pay it or you don't have bank funds.

Consequence: When you don't pay the paycheck you just accrue interest at the bank

Human Behavior toward money

A lot of people have a different behavior toward money. There are some that are blind

about it. They think that there isn’t nothing more important than be rich. Also, they can

do or they are willing to do anything for having it. That´s why there are burglars. They pass

all their lives trying to have everything they want. But there are another type of people that

even they are poor. They earn money, but in an honestly way. They get up early and work for

having money and maintain their families.

However, the money can change the morality of a person. A clear example of it is Alfonso

Portillo when he stole a lot of money of the country. He has a bad reputation, because for him

money was more important than be a good president for guatemalans.
