Directly Supervises Reporting Structure Manager Corporate Services through the Principal Human Resource Officer
Primary Objective To provide high quality customer service and front line support in a professional way that reflects the
high standard of customer services that LTA is providing through personal contact and answering the telephone.
Responsibilities 1 First line of contact to welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone. 2 Manage the reception area to enhance friendly environment for customers and present a
professional image of the Authority. 3 Controls all telephone calls by screening and puts calls through to appropriate personnel promptly in
a professional manner. 4 Take accurate telephone messages for staff and ensure that they return the calls to their customers
and clients. 5 Receives and registers all incoming correspondence of the Authority. 6 Assist with general administration when required 7 Keeps the reception area tidy and presentable at all times.
8 Other duties directed from time to time
Selection Criteria Essential -
Desirable Weighting
1 Minimum qualification of a PSSC with passes in English & Maths or Officer Administration Certificate.

2 At least 3years work experience in reception or customer service work Essential 3 Computer literacy in software (word, excel & access) Essential 4 Demonstrated ability to have excellent communication (Samoan &
English) and interpersonal skills. Essential
5 General knowledge of LTA and its core responsibilities. Desirable 6 Demonstrate knowledge of customer service Essential 7 Demonstrated ability to work meticulously, accurately, respectfully
and honestly. Essential
8 Should have the ability to work together with other staff of the division as well as other staff of the Authority
