KIDS and adults alike thrill at the chance to get close to animals like the kangaroos and other exotic creatures at Kangaroo Creek Farm in Lake Country.

A hopping mad visitor to Lake Country’s Kan-garoo Creek Farm has meant a change in the business format.
As was spelled out on the farm’s Facebook page this week, admission is now $5 per person for those ve years old and
up or $20 for a family of ve.
e donation box that once was the sole source of revenue will still be up if anyone would like to make an additional con-tribution.
“ e straw that broke the farm’s back was a woman who visited to-day that didn’t like the
fact that we had some-one on the gate ‘help-ing’ people with their do-nations,” read a post by farm owners Greg and Caroline Wightman.
“Apparently my em-ployee failed to use the word ‘donation’ and called it a ‘fee.’”
at’s when the con-versation ramped up
and the woman alleged-ly said that Kangaroo Creek Farm should not be charging a fee be-cause they are only there “on su erance and owe her something because (they) are such a burden to the community.”
She claimed to be upset that visitors are parking on Main Street
or getting in her way when she’s trying to shop for groceries.
e Wightmans say that they are negotiat-ing with Lake Country to get a parking lot, that they will pay for, but that can only happen at the District of Lake Coun-try speed.
 e farm will con-
tinue with its commun-ity service in the Lake Country schools, day-cares, retirement homes, institutions and various clubs.
In addition, the farm will be printing up “admit one family” cou-pons to be distributed at

It’s a change in busi-ness model that’s of no concern to the vast ma-jority of those who vis-it the attraction. e Fa-cebook page where the incident is spelled out is lled of commentary supporting the decision, with many pointing out the fee is less than they
usually donate. Even the presi-

transaction. A small wireless cam-
era is also installed near the PIN pad, to rec-ord the purchaser’s PIN number as they key it in.
To investigate a sus-pect card reader, Con-st. Ann Donnelly of the Kelowna RCMP Fraud Section says, “gently pull on parts of the machine, whether it’s a gas pump or an ATM. If a skim-ming device is attached it will most likely move when manipulated, and therefore something is wrong. Do not use the machine and report it immediately to the busi-ness.”
In addition, she said, “cover your hand when entering your PIN. Get-ting the data o the mag stripe of your card is only part of the puzzle. A camera will typically be installed to observe the user entering their PIN.”
Additional skimming prevention tips:• look for irregularities in the decals on the pumps• look for signs of a wire-less camera installed near bye• review your trans-actions regularly• report any suspicious transactions to your bank immediately;• call the police if you ob-
serve any suspicious ac-tivity.
Police would also like to remind local business-es and the general public to be extra vigilant when accepting United States currency as there have been recently reported cases of counterfeit US bills being passed in our community.

A 31-year-old Kelowna man is facing multiple criminal charges af-ter allegedly breaching his court-or-dered conditions of release.
On July 21, 2015 Lake Country RCMP received a report of a suspi-cious occurrence where a 13-year-old Lake Country girl was thrown a note containing a phone num-ber from the suspect male driver of a small black car which had passed her several times along Lodge Road.
On July 27, Lake Country RCMP received a report of an-other suspicious occurrence, which had occurred on July 17, where
a 16-year-old Lake Country girl was also thrown a note from a sus-pect male driver of a similar vehicle which had passed her a couple of times along Bottom Wood Lake Road.
Police quickly linked the two in-vestigations and identi ed the sus-pect as being a violent o ender known to police and subject to mul-tiple court-imposed conditions of release, including but limited to:
• not have contact or communica-tion with any female who appears to be the age of 16 or less;
• not attend any public park,
school ground or playground where persons under the age of 16 are present or can reasonably be ex-pected to be present.
e Kelowna RCMP Street En-forcement Team quickly became in-volved and began covert surveillance of the suspect.
On Aug. 5, as a result of the on-going surveillance, the Kelowna RCMP Street Enforcement Team intercepted additional notes being thrown from the suspect’s vehicle at girls who appeared to be under the age of 16 in the area of Abbott Street and Wardlaw Street in Ke-
lowna.A police o cer posed as a
15-year-old female, and initiated contact with the suspect via text messaging. e suspect arranged to meet the o cer in person at a local park where he was taken into police custody without incident.
“ rough hard work and dedi-cation to public safety the Kelowna RCMP Street Enforcement Team has again taken a violent o end-er, who was obviously a high risk to re-o end, o our streets,” said Con-st. Jesse O’Donaghey.
James Jonathan Bryshun faces
multiple criminal charges of fail-ing to comply with a probation or-der and failing to comply with a re-cognizance. He remains in custody and is expected to re-appear in court August 24, 2015.
Anyone with any additional in-formation is asked to contact Const. Bentham of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by tex-ting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.

A soil removal application in Lake Country that rst appeared in 2008 will have to wait some more before the district council deals with.
Lake Country council has asked sta to clean up the temporary use application from the Large family to remove gravel from an 8.5 acre parcel of property near the corner of Glenmore Road and Okanagan Centre Road West, and bring it back to the next regular council meeting.
“We referred it back to sta be-cause not only are the applicants asking for a temporary use per-mit for soil removal, but they had a tag in there to add a variance for a small business storage issue,” said Mayor James Baker.
“ ey wanted to do a little bit of storing materials and there was considerable discussion over whether that could be a temporary
use along with soil removal.” e owners of the land were be-
fore council in 2008, and received approval for the soil removal, but no action has been taken on the land because the owners couldn’t get additional approval to access the property.
Today, the owners have ac-cess o Okanagan Centre Road West and want to move forward with the soil removal plan, saying it’s not a full-scale gravel pit oper-ation.
e plan, said family mem-ber Mike Large, is to level the land and prepare it for a future use which hasn’t been determined.
Large’s parents own the prop-erty in question.
Adjacent properties to the pro-posed area are already soil removal and processing sites with the min-istry of highways operating a grav-el pit as well as pits operated by Peter Bros. and OK. Builders.
Sta at the District of Lake
Country were recommending ap-proval of the application.
Opposition to the applica-tion has been expressed by regis-tered nurse Maggie Getz, who is concerned for the health of her 90-year-old mother who lives in the area.
“ ere is a concern about people who already have breathing problems,” said Getz. “It’s dusty already in the area. My moth-er planted a row of cedars to help keep the dust down. ere is also a lot of noise pollution and tra c is really bad on Glenmore Road al-ready.”
e applicant has proposed to build a three-metre tall berm along Glenmore Road to shield residential areas from the soil pro-cessing.
ey would also have to put up $30,000 in bonds to make sure there is dust control measures in place as well as reclamation when the operation is complete.

opinions on issues going
on in our communityOn a recent drive
through the B.C. Interior, I
passed through McLure and Barriere, commun-ities north of Kamloops that were devastated by wild re in 2003.
While these com-munities have recovered, blackened tree trunks are still visible where res burned for 75 days and forced the evacuation of 3,800 people.
With the early start to this year’s re season, the media attention and ef-fects of an unusual spring drought, you might think that B.C. is on pace to match that terrible sum-mer.
You would be wrong. As of last week, area burned and money spent by the B.C. Wild re Service had only just ex-ceeded the totals for mid-August during last summer’s re season, which were high but not remarkable.
e number of indi-vidual res is higher this year, but that’s most-
ly a result of lightning storm patterns. Spend-ing has topped $200 mil-lion, as it did last year at this time before nishing just below $300 million. e 2003 total was above $400 million, and the 2009 season was slightly below that.
Forests Minister Steve omson cautions that there are still many weeks to go and hot, dry conditions are expected for much of that. Once the damage is done for the year, the ministry re-views the impact on for-ests and begins assess-ment of which areas
should be replanted and which should be left to regenerate naturally.
Pine forests need re to regenerate, and the strategy in recent years has been to allow res to burn out naturally and contain them to pro-tect people and property. Decades of re suppres-sion, based on viewing Crown forests strict-ly as a timber resource, helped create conditions for the beetle epidemic that has left vast quanti-ties of dead wood to fuel more res.
e 2003 re season set the tone for polit-ical debate on forest re policy that has continued since then. e oppos-ition points to recom-mendations from former Manitoba premier Gary Filmon that removing fuel from around com-munities is the best pro-tection.
is task has prov-en impossibly big, espe-cially as rural commun-ity tax bases shrink, but the ideological dance
continues in Victoria. e NDP campaigned in 2013 on a promise to double tree planting, and its general approach is to spend more money and hire more sta .
Speaking of political dances, Premier Christy Clark has made a couple of appearances at re sites where homes and businesses have been threatened or destroyed.
(Today’s big-city media formula is to em-phasize danger and pro-mote attacks on premiers of all stripes. If they don’t visit disasters, they are callous and uncaring. If they do, they’re ex-ploiting the situation for photo ops.)
In her rst re scene appearance this sum-mer, Clark warned that drought and huge res may be “the new nor-mal” for B.C. as climate warms and shifts. is is great positioning for the government’s plan to at-tend the latest global cli-mate doom festival in Paris this fall, but it’s not
borne out by recent for-est re results.
In terms of dollars spent and area burned, the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 were all well below average. Last year and 2009 were sub-stantially above average, but 2008 and 2013 were among the quietest years on record.
Is drought the “new normal” too? e B.C. government’s own cli-mate change forecast is for increasing overall precipitation, albeit with more rain and less snow.
Snowpacks for south-ern B.C. were indeed the lowest on record this past winter, but that re-cord only goes back 31 years. And when were high snowfall records last broken? at would be 2011.

When my daughter and I
visited India this spring, our guide took us to Chandni Chowk, Delhi’s oldest and busiest mar-ket.
Delhi’s streets are al-ways clogged with cars, trucks, taxis, people and livestock. But stepping from those streets into the chowk itself felt like moving from a meander-ing stream into Class IV rapids.

en varieties, each with its own unique use.
e aroma of spices con icts with the nose-wrinkling stench of urine. Cock-roaches scurry under-foot; scrawny dogs lick crumbs o the pavement.
And through this chaos weave motor scooters, blipping their engines, beeping inces-santly. Each scooter car-ries two, three, some-times four riders. Or maybe two men and a goat. Even two men and a full-size refrigerator.
 e chowk is sensory overload.
And then our guide diverts us through a nar-row entry into a short street. e din of the chowk dies away. Two small boys in clean white shirts pass a soccer ball back and forth. Green plants rustle gently.
I learned later the street has a name—Nau-jhra Lane. Author Sarah MacDonald calls it “a sanctuary of calm and beauty, with small wood-en homes painted white with bright yellow and blue trim.” Our guide simply called it “Jain Street.”
A small colony of Jains have lived here for centuries.
Jainism is an o -shoot of Buddhism. Its founder, Mahavira, was an associate of Guata-ma Buddha. But it took him 12 years to attain enlightenment, before he started teaching his prin-ciples.
MacDonald calls Jain-ism “an extreme form of Buddhism.” Perhaps it is. Certainly Jains take non-violence to an ex-treme. Members be-lieve in not harming anything. Some wear masks, to avoid inhaling
or swallowing even one of India’s in nity of in-sects; they carry brooms to sweep crawling insects out of their path.
Members choose pro-fessions likely to have minimal impact on the planet. Like polishing gemstones, for instance.
My daughter and I were so entranced by this oasis of peace and tran-quillity that we bought more than we should have.
Like Buddhists and Hindus, Jains believe in karma, cosmic connec-tion and reincarnation. I don’t. But I don’t have to share their beliefs to
admire their discipline, their ethics, their com-mitment to caring for each other.
e early Christian church was like that too, I gather. People weren’t attracted by the theol-ogy—even the apostle Paul admitted it could sound like foolishness—but by the caring they showed. Long before it became an institution, the church was known as “ e Way,” a way of liv-ing.
Perhaps it could be, again.

In a crisis, you see the best and worst of human endeavour.
Last week, I visited the people of Midway and Oliver as their com-munities rallied to battle wild res, and recover.
Everywhere, you saw people at their best. Fire- ghters putting them-selves at risk. Ordinary men and women sup-porting their neighbours by opening commun-ity centres and lending everything from sup-plies to emotional sup-port—equally crucial in times of crisis. e ladies
in the kitchen cooking for 500 evacuees, which gives you pause, consid-ering Midway has about 650 residents.
Unfortunately, crises also reveal people at their worst. ree ight crews in Oliver were ground-ed. Instead of drop-ping water and help-ing to contain the re, they were forced to the sidelines because some individuals were y-ing drones. Maybe they didn’t realize they were interfering—but the de-lay they caused almost certainly meant more people and property were put at risk. It’s inexcus-able.
Some res are inevit-able—but people are
causing more and more of them, especially in summer. e causes of all three res I saw Sun-day are under investi-gation, but two are cur-rently believed to be hu-man-caused. Every human-caused wild re is, by de nition, prevent-able. More to the point, each one unnecessarily ties up crews and resour-ces that could otherwise be deployed on naturally occurring res.
ese should be easy problems to x. In an unusually hot, dry sum-mer, it shouldn’t be di -
cult to explain the dan-ger, persuade people to respect the re ban, stop icking lit cigarettes into dry grass, and certainly not to interfere with re- ghting operations with drones. For those people who aren’t convinced, there are penalties and nes in place, ranging from $115 for failure to report a re, to up to $100,000 and/or a year in jail for openly contra-vening an open re pro-hibition.
You would think these would be enough. But given the events of this
summer, the provincial government is consid-ering stricter penalties in the hope that more people get the message. Forests, Lands, and Nat-ural Resources Oper-ations Minister Steve omson asked MLA Mike Morris, who had a 32-year career in law en-forcement, to undertake a review.
Ultimately, these troublemakers are a tiny proportion of B.C., and while the dam-age they cause a ects us all, they’re not rep-resentative. I prefer to
think about people like one woman I met in the Midway commun-ity centre. She and her baby were evacuated from their home, came to Midway, and were eventually cleared to go home.
She chose to come back, to help the volun-teers. at’s the B.C. I know.

I promised a similar list for what to do after you leave the scene.

Following those pri-orities will result in as quick and complete a re-covery as possible, and will keep your income and other losses to a

ALISTAIR WATERS
When Lake Country resident Brian Dolman died in a car accident in June 2014, his wife of 40 years, Madeline, sought a way to deal with her
grief—and to remember her husband as a com-munity volunteer.
Madeline Dolman, an artist, decided to com-memorate her husband’s love of Beasley Park in Lake Country with a
pair of pictures she creat-ed showing the park and community clubhouse at the park’s soccer eld he helped build.
“He loved this park,” said Madeline. “He was really dedicated. He was passionate about it.”
e pictures, which when placed togeth-er show a panorama of the park, are made from a collage of cloth—frag-ments of Brian’s clothes.
Madeline donated the pictures to the Lake Country Soccer Associ-ation, hoping they would be hung on a wall of a room in the commun-ity clubhouse used by the association.
She chose the associ-ation because her hus-band, originally from England, was a big soc-cer fan who played and coached soccer in Lake Country.
But the pictures, un-framed, have gone missing while waiting to nd a home in the soccer association’s room.
Madeline said when
she learned of their dis-appearance, she and a friend searched the building looking for them, contacted District of Lake Country sta to
see if they had been re-moved and checked with other groups that use the room in the clubhouse.
But so far, the search has turned up nothing.
“I’d like to think they have just been mislaid or stored away as opposed to stolen,” said Madeline, who worked on the two 3 1/2-foot by two-foot pictures for about eight months before donating
them in the spring. She said by going
public about the loss, she hopes they can be re-covered or jog someone’s memory about where they may be, if they were moved or stored in an-other location.
e pictures are im-portant to Madeline, not just because of their dir-ect connection to her husband, but also be-cause they depicted a park she says was not only important to him, but is a cherished com-munity amenity.
In addition to her late husband’s work to help build the clubhouse and improve the park, her children have also lent a hand helping the park grow and when they were younger they played soccer there too.
Anyone with infor-mation about the pic-tures is asked to contact either the Lake Coun-try Soccer Association or the District of Lake Country.
I have given you ad-vice, which looks more like medical and re-habilitation advice, that will keep those losses to a minimum.
Wouldn’t you want more losses so as to have a larger claim?
Heck no. at’s about as ridiculous as hoping that your car sustains more damage so that the repair bill will be higher.
Unfortunately, assess-ing your losses is not like assessing how much it will cost to repair your car.
e evidence of vehicle damage is right there to be seen.
Ten repair shops could each look at the same damaged vehicle and come up with similar as-sessments of the loss.
Your losses, i.e. your pain and other symp-toms and how those symptoms have and are continuing to impact your work, home, family, recreational and other aspects of your life, are not there to be seen.
It is vitally important, therefore, that the evi-dence of your losses be preserved.
If you cannot prove your losses, you will not be compensated for them.
So how do you prove what it felt like to endure your symptoms early on after a crash, and the ways those symptoms are continuing to impact on you?
You tell your story. e problem is that
your own memories of these impacts will fade over time.
e best way to tell a crisp, clear, reliable story of how your injuries have impacted on you will be by rst refreshing your memory with a journal of entries you have made as the events have oc-curred.
Did your injuries cause you to miss work?
Have you turned down overtime hours or is overtime not being of-fered to you because your employer is aware of your injuries?
Might advance-ment opportunities have passed you by?
Are you working somewhat fewer hours in your own business and hiring slightly more

Participants in an in-vasive mussel inspection workshop last week got more than expected when a boat carrying the concerning molluscs showed up for an actual inspection and decon-tamination, say event or-ganizers.
e workshop, held at Kelowna’s Cook Street boat launch parking lot, was organized by the Okanagan Basin Water Board and its Water-Wise program’s Don’t Move A Mussel initia-tive in partnership with the B.C. Ministry of En-
vironment. It was geared to marina and yacht club operators but included RCMP and local gov-ernment bylaw sta , as well as Okanagan Na-tion Alliance sheries representatives.
“It was an incredible opportunity to view the
actual mussels on a boat rst-hand and then dis-cover just how hard it is to detect them,” said OBWB operations and project manager James Littley.
An Ontario couple moving to the Low-er Mainland owns the boat. It had been moored in zebra mussel-infested Rideau Canal before be-ing transported west.
e owner had in-spected the boat before leaving Ontario. It was stopped on the weekend by Alberta inspectors and, when mussels were found, it was decontam-inated.
Alberta called the B.C. Conservation Of- ce in charge of in-spection and decon-tamination, to tell them a boat was on its way. e boater was ordered to have a follow-up in-spection in Kelowna.
Within minutes of the boat pulling in to where the training was taking place, B.C. inspectors de-tected several sand grain-
sized mussels around the boat’s trim-tabs and props.
e boat had report-edly been out of water for 30 days and had been properly drained. Still, not taking any chances, after the inspection in the parking lot and after taking a sample, the boat was moved to a gravel lo-cation for decontamin-ation.
e mussel samples were sent to a lab to de-termine if they were alive. It is illegal in B.C. to transport the mussels dead or alive.
According to prov-incial sta , there have been at least 15 high-risk boats decontaminated in B.C. so far this summer. Further testing suggests none had live mussels on board. However, several nes were issued, includ-ing for failure to stop at an inspection station.
Some of the boats were also quarantined to ensure they were out of the water and dry for 30 days.
News of this latest incident left OBWB chairman Doug Find-later shaking his head. “While B.C.’s Conserva-tion O cer team is con-scientious and taking this seriously, we still don’t have a lock down system in place,” he said.
“ e fact that this boat had to go through two inspections and de-contaminations, shows how di cult it is to ght this. If we are going to be successful in keeping these mussels out of our waters, it will take serious vigilance.”
Findlater said B.C. is still relying on others to let it know when an at-risk watercraft is coming into the province. “And we’re relying on an hon-our system,” he said.
“( ese boaters) were asked to nd their way to Kelowna to be checked and they did. at’s great, but what if they hadn’t, and what if they had live mussels and launched their boat in B.C.?”
Last March, the
province announced $575,000 in 2015-16 to help ght the mus-sels, with the majority of the money going to three roving inspection crews with two COs each.
Another three roving teams were announced in July, with funding from Columbia Basin Trust.
e water board has called for permanent in-spection stations where stopping is mandatory, as has been done in Alberta and many U.S. jurisdic-tions.
In particular, the OBWB has called for stations at the ve main highway entry points on the B.C.-Alberta border.
e province has es-timated each inspection station would cost $60,000 to $160,000 each per year). Research done for the OBWB es-timates an infestation would cost $43 million to the Okanagan alone.

The Lake Country Classic and Custom

Each year the Lake Country Art Gallery presents a themed exhibition in conjunction with Lake Country’s hugely popular annual Artwalk which will be held Sept. 12 and 13.
is year’s themed exhibition will kick things o early, with the juried exhibition opening today, Aug. 26 and continuing to Sept 25 at the Lake Country Art Gallery.
Artwalk itself is set for Sept. 12 and 13 in Lake Country.
e theme this year is “Light: Illuminat-ing Art.” Artists are invited to interpret the
theme in any manner, style or medium—2D or 3D.
“I’m always intrigued by how folks ap-proach a themed exhibition,” said gallery curator Katie Brennan.
“I like to leave a lot of room for creativ-ity of all sorts.
As with the past few Artwalk theme ex-hibitions at the Lake Country Art Gal-lery, artists do not need to be a participant in Artwalk in order to be a part of this ex-hibition.
“ is is the third year where we’re invit-ing any and all artists to submit work for this exhibition,” explained Brennan.
“We’ve opened this up to all artists as not everyone is able to be a part of Artwalk, and we’d like as many artists as possible to be a part of this exhibition at the Lake Country Art Gallery”.
For more details on this exhibition, visit lakecountryartgallery.ca.
Artwalk themed exhibit opens at LCAG

CHRISTIE, ARLENE RUTHApril 30, 1935 ~ August 15, 2015
After a courageous battle with cancer we had to say goodbye to our Mom and Grandma. She leaves to
celebrate her life her daughter, Laura (James); son Dave
(Michelle) and three wonderful grandkids, Sean, Katie &
Samantha. Predeceased by her husband Al in September 2012. Arlene’s most happiest time was
when she was sitting in front of a canvas, paint brush in hand!
She loved the places she could go to with the stroke of the brush. We will miss her. “It was a life well lived!”
Cremation with no funeral as requested. We would like to thank all the Kelowna Hospice and palliative care angels! In lieu of fl owers memorial donations in Mom’s name can
be made to Kelowna Hospice or the Kelowna SPCA.

2015 Fall/Winter Activity Guide
Party in the Park – Come Play!
FREE Community Event Food Activities Music Have your say
You are Invited: Saturday, September 19th
11am – 3pm Beasley Park
3450 Woodsdale Road
The District of Lake Country is updating our Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Master Plan will guide planning and decision-making related to parks and recreation for the next 20 years. Come to the Party in the Park for some family fun and let us know what you value about Parks and Recreation in the community!
They’re everywhere this year! Webworms (ugh!) Knitting, Wood Carving, Karate, Zumba, Yoga, Dog obedience training, Ethnic cooking . . . are just a few of the interesting activities you can register to participate in this Fall/Winter. The Activity Guide was in the mail lastweek and registration opened August 21. Register online at www.okanganway.ca/municipal or call 250-766-5650.
Universal Water Meters installations
It happens every year. Your garden is looking great and then you see big ugly webs in your trees and shrubs. Inside the webs are colonies of caterpillars (Webworms) munching the leaves off your trees. Before panicking, the first thing you should know is that these webworms don't typically cause a lot of damage to trees and shrubs. They look far worse than they are. So the most organic approach is to simply let them be. Even if they defoliate your tree, it's usually late enough in the season that it doesn't harm your tree.
Water Meter installers from Neptune Technologies have now completed the scheduled water meter installations for Lake Country water customers. If you did not yet respond to the mail out and phone call invitation and reminder, please book your appointment immediately by calling: 1-800-667-4387.
This phase of the project is nearing completion and home owners that have not yet had a meter installed need to book ASAP to avoid an individual installation fee. Note: If you already have a meter it will need to be upgraded to be compatible with the District’s new meter reading system.

Universal Water Meter
Webworm populations normally rise and fall from year to year and it seems that populations are peaking this year. Even though the nests/webs in the trees are quite unsightly, they do not usually do permanent damage to mature trees.
They are a part of nature and are common to this area. The City of Kelowna, Central Okanagan Regional District and the District of Lake Country do not apply pesticides in public spaces or on private properties to control this pest. They are mostly an esthetic problem and not a threat to their host.
If you have a tree or shrub on your property that is infested with the Webworm you can make a hole in their nest (web) – either by spraying water or creating a hole with a stick – to open up their habitat so the natural predators are able to go in and feast.
Watch for a Lake Country Parks & Recreation Master Plan Survey invitation coming soon. We want to hear your
perspectives about parks, trails, and recreation facilities in the
community. Your input can help guide
decision-making for the future.
