GENERAL SAFETY RULES

Listen or Read all instructions carefully before beginning

Wear safety goggles at all times for protection against chemicals, heated materials, or possible shattered glass

Immediately notify a teacher if anything spills or is broken

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

Wash hands after handling chemicals

Keep hands AWAY from your face at all times

Long hair must be pulled back

Long sleeves must be rolled up

Know the location of the fire extinguisher, fire blanket, eye wash station and first aid kit

Reduce clutter at your work station

Clean your station up to the way it looked when you entered

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

Absolutely zero horse play or jokes will be allowed during lab

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

If any glassware is broken or cracked report it to the teacher as soon as possible

Broken glass doesn’t go in the regular trash

When pouring liquids the glassware must be on the table

Absolutely no food or drink in the lab area EVER

Report any injuries (cuts, burns, etc.) to the teacher immediately

Treat all lab equipment or materials as if they are your own… RESPECT

LABS CAN BE FUN DON’T RUIN IT FOR OTHERS
