1.The district Collector Passes the award and the LAO issues notice u/s 12(2) to the land owner.

1.The Revenue Inspector authorised by LAO take over the land from the owner and hand over to the requisitioning authority free from all encumbrances.

The LAO fill up the relevant columns of LACM.

Notice u/s 9(2) u of the survey and boundaries act is published in the Gazette..

There will be 90 days period since the publication of the notice to rectify any mistake occurred if any, during survey.

The persons interested can file petition during the period.

LAO issues notice in form-14 as per rule 15(6) is issued to SRO to make modification in the registers of Sub Registrar.

Tahsildar sends one copy to the village office.The village officer makes changes in the BTR, Thandaper, FMBAnd prepares the Kooduthal Kuravu Statement for Jamabandhi.

If the land is for government purpose , the LA taxable land is converted to PURAMBOKE.

If the land is for other institutions Transfer of Registry is done…..ROR is issued….and basic tax is realised.

After making modifications in the revenue records VO fill up the LACM and the LACM is returned to Tahsildar…..

On receipt of the LACM from the VO ,the Tahsildar makes amendment in the taluk records and include the sketch in taluk survey sub division register.If there is any correction required, the sketch with report sent to Dist Survey Supdt.

After making all correction the Tahsildar fill up column 27 to 31 of LACM and it is returned to LAO with report.

On receipt of LACM from tahsildar and after disposing the complains received after the publication of 9(2) notice,the LAO publishes the notice u/s 13 of the S & B Act in the gazette.It is published in the VO and obtain report of publication.

As no proper post award action is taken in the state, many of the LA land still remains as taxable land in the Revenue Records………and mutation of the land is being done by treating the land as taxable land……
