Questa collezione prende forma da una lunga esperienza nel campo dell’interior design, dalla passione per la sem-plicità e la bellezza, ma anche dal desiderio di aggiun-gere temi, stimoli e valori nuovi alla vita quotidiana. Gli oggetti di questa collezione seguono percorsi progettuali diversi, ma nascono tutti per risolvere delle esigenze concrete, in un modo piacevole ed effi cace. This collection is the fruit of long experience in interior de-sign, of a passion for simplicity and beauty, of the desire to introduce new themes, stimuli and values to everyday life. The objects in this collection display different design approaches, yet they are all designed to meet real needs in an easy, effective way. Successful and up-and-coming designers, traditional and innovative materials, colour and technology, Italian style and Scandinavian moods join to-gether in a personal yet universal language that expresses itself in any setting: public environments, private homes, indoor spaces and in the open air.

LIVIAGIO PONTI

Progettata nel 1937 per arredare la Facoltà di Lettere “Livianum” dell’Università di Padova, Livia è stata rieditata da l’abbate, a partire dal 2005. Struttura in faggio massiccio, sedile in compen-sato multistrato di faggio, disponibile in undici colorazioni per laccati e tre tinte.

Designed in 1937 to furnish the “Livianum” faculty of literature of Padua University. Livia was reissued by l’abbate, starting in 2005. Structure in massive beech wood, seat in plywood, lac-quered in eleven different colours or stained.

This armchair was designed by Gio Ponti at Civate in the fi fties for those returning, wearily, from the Benedictine abbey of San Pietro on Monte Pedale, Civate, Italy. Frame in solid beech, stain-ned or lacquered. Handcrafted paper yarn seat or upholstered and covered with fabric or leather.

HOLEFOR USE

Questa collezione composta da sedia, poltroncina e sgabello impilabili è caratterizzata dal particolare vuoto nello schienale (hole). L’idea è nata dalla ricerca di una nuova impugnatura e dalla riduzione di peso rispetto alle classiche monoscocche. La posizione asimmetrica della parte vuota dello schienale fa sembrare la scocca sempre diversa a seconda della angolazione del punto di vista. Disponibile anche la variante con lo schienale tutto pieno. La scocca è realizzata in multistrato di faggio laccato o imbottito ed il basamento in tondino di acciaio cromato oppure laccato.

Collection composed by chair, armchair and barstool. The hole in the back side of the shell shall serves as the handle and reduces overall weight. Asymmetric position of the hole enhances visual dynamics while rotated chairs and stools appear to be different from one another. Rosalinda era la moglie del conte Ferdinando Borletti. Struttura in legno tinto o laccato e ripiano in cristallo; struttura sottocristallo assotigliata a lama.

This table was designed in 1940 to furnish Villa Widman, designed by the architect Baldassarre Longhena in 1660. Villa Widman was owned by only three families: counts Widman, princes D’Arember and counts Borletti. Rosalinda was Count Fer-dinando Borletti’s wife. Un foglio di HPL (laminato stratifi cato) piegato a 90° in due angoli formando due piani paralleli. Questa forma a “C” per-mette di utilizzare le superfi ci orizzontali come piani d’appoggio mentre la parte verticale viene utilizzata per il fi ssaggio a muro. Le mensole sono disponibili in varie lunghezze in modo da poter creare svariate composizioni. Colore standard bianco con bordo nero.

La grafi ca del disegno tratto dai “quadri porta” di Gio Ponti, viene ingrandita e moltiplicata sul pavimento o sulle pareti. Una grafi ca che rende gli ambienti fortemente identifi cabili e riconoscibili. E’ un pavimento di nuova generazione, stampato con tecnologia ink-jet su ogni singola doga, protetto superfi cial-mente da una vernice resistente all’abrasione di classe AC3 (in conformità alle norme UNI EN 13329:2006 e EN15468). Viene realizzato mediante un sistema di produzione innovativo in gra-do di soddisfare la crescente necessità di richiesta dal mercato di nuovi decori, di grandi e piccole personalizzazioni, di grandi e piccoli quantitativi con tempi di realizzazione, produzione e consegna rapidi. Si tratta di un prodotto altamente ecologico poiché gli inchiostri utilizzati sono ad acque e non è necessario stampare su carta.

The graphic pattern of the design taken from the “quadri porta” by Gio Ponti is enlarged and multiplied on the fl oor and walls to endow spaces with a strong identity and easy recognition. This is a new generation fl oor, printed by inkjet technology on each individual slat and with the surface protected by an abrasion-resi-stant coating in class AC3 (in accordance with the standards UNI EN 13329:2006 and EN15468). It is produced by means of an innovative production system able to meet the growing need and market demand for new decorations, large and small personali-sations and large and small quantities with fast production and delivery times. This is a highly environment-friendly product as the inks used are water-based and it is not necessary to print on paper.

Le grandi forniture rappresentano per l’abbate una attività paral-

lela. Tutte le risorse creative e produttive di l’abbate vengono de-

dicate al contract mettendo in campo tutta l’esperienza acquisita.

I progetti vengono affrontati con grande versatilità e sono tutti

eterogenei fra loro. Si parte dalla semplice personalizzazione

dei prodotti di serie per arrivare allo sviluppo e produzione di

prodotti speciali. Dalla sedia al tavolo, dalla poltrona al letto,

dal divano alla camera completa. l’abbate è in grado di soddi-

sfare qualunque richiesta per quanto riguarda prodotti in legno,

metallo o imbottiti. Il servizio offerto va dalla progettazione, allo

sviluppo, alla produzione, alla logistica fi no al servizio “chiavi in

mano” dell’intero progetto.

plementary activity to l’abbate. The company dedicates its own

creative and productive resources to the contract fi eld. The

“Customization” of the current production is the method techni-

que that makes it possible for l’abbate to reach an exceptional
