Kruger Optical StoryInnovation. Value. Performance. These qualities, which Kruger Optical’s engineering team brings to all its product families, define the specialty optics products carrying the Kruger Optical brand.

The company has put a combined 150 years of engineering experience to work to bring these top-of-the-line products to our customers. Our KO brand products for military, law enforcement, hunting and general users offer unprecedented quality.

Kruger Optical was founded a decade ago to be a one-stop source of optical products. During that time, the business has grown from a component supplier into an engineering-based company focusing on new product development. Headquartered in Sisters, Oregon, and Walnut, California, KO supplies binoculars, riflescopes, spotting scopes, optical components, subassemblies and other products to multiple markets.

All Kruger brand products are engineered and tested in our Oregon engineering lab, which is equipped to test all aspects of our products. Equipment includes optical interferometers, collimators and impact testers.

The Kruger brand includes high-end, Made-in-the-USA products such as the Dual Tactical Sight™ (DTS™), which is manufactured in the company’s Oregon facility (from U.S. and imported components). Other products, such as the K4™ and K5™ riflescope families, are Crafted in the USA (engineered and assembled in Oregon from high-quality imported components). The Oregon site includes a 10k clean room, manufacturing area and a full machine shop.

The company’s ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 certified factories in Asia are world leaders in optics manufacturing, producing difficult, European-style optics at value prices. Our QA and communications office in Shanghai, China, helps ensure that all orders are completed according to plan.

Our scientific division, Pacific Rim Optical, Inc., produces high quality lenses, prisms, mirrors, flats, subassemblies and micro-optics. Our background in components helps us produce consistently high quality products.

Kruger Optical’s professional-grade riflescopes, spotters and binoculars contain high-end features that are normally seen in much higher-priced products: color corrected APO objectives, fully broadband AR coated optics, hydrophobic and scratch resistant lens coatings, high performance ranging reticles, and much more.

Designed for complex combat situations, this U.S.-made sight is actually two scopes in one compact package. For close combat situations, the sight is a high-resolution 1 MOA dot with a 60 MOA circle reflex sight. A flip of a lever transforms it into a 2-8x40 sniper scope with Mil-dot reticle. All adjustments can be quickly made while looking through the sight, so there is no need to lose sight of a target.
