2012 was proof that KR quads are here to stay.WCT champion, Joel Parkinson rode predominately 5 fin set ups thought the victory year putting a

multitude of quad variations to the test.

After a 2nd place finish in Tahiti in 2012 using the JP quad, Joel soon realised that further exploration of the quad configuration had value. Together with KR Joel began developing ideas to take it to the next

level.

Pro surfers now find themselves adjusting between thruster and quad set up based on conditions and the transition can be vital. It soon became clear that if KR could create a trailer template to compliment the teams favourite signature front fins, the transition between thruster and quad would

become seamless during events.

By the end of 2012 Joel had found the magic set and we began sampling for the other team eager to use quad trailers back with their signature fins. Now in 2013 the Quad trailers are in frequent use by all our riders, most notably Joel winning the Bali pro with the M-L and Ace Buchan’s win at Tahiti on

the S-M template.

After 18 months in development, KR are proud to announce the launch of the new KR Quad TRAILERS.

MATCHYOUR FAVOURITE THRUSTER FRONTSWITH KINETIK RACING’S NEW

MED-LRGThis template was used by Parko in Europe and Hawaii during his world title year of 2012 as well as Bali Pro, Fiji and Tahiti in 2013.

This Template is a scale down of the Joels Favoured template and suits a lighter rider or smaller waves. This template was used by Ace Buchan with JP-5 fronts in his 2013 Tahit Victory.
