    KPIS UTRAN ERICSSON

    1. OBJETO

    Este documento describe los indicadores y las frmulas asociadas necesarias, para evaluar la calidad de la red radio Ericsson, propuestos por el suministrador y estudiados en el grupo de trabajo de estadsticas.

    Los indicadores propuestos cubren los servicios de voz, videotelefona, datos y streaming.

    2. MBITO DE APLICACIN

    UTRAN Ericsson con versin SW P2.1.5 CU1 - P2.1.6 CU5 - P2.1.6 CU6.

    3. KPIS UTRAN ERICSSON

    Call Completion

    Se define como la probabilidad de soportar con xito una conexin desde el acceso hasta la desconexin normal por parte del usuario final.

    Accesibilidad (RRC+RAB)

    Se define como la probabilidad de establecer con xito una conexin para el servicio deseado.

    Capacidad de retencin (1-CDR)

    Se define como la probabilidad de que una conexin sea terminada adecuadamente (con xito) por el usuario final, una vez se haya garantizado su acceso a red.

    Integridad

    Se define como la probabilidad de que la conexin establecida se mantenga dentro de los mrgenes de calidad requerida, la cual es definida en trminos de BLER objetivo.

    A parte de estos indicadores habituales, se han aadido al documento los siguientes:

    Cell Update

    La tasa de xito de actualizaciones de clula.

    Indisponibilidad

    La indisponibilidad a nivel de clula se puede medir en base a los tiempos en los que una clula se encuentra deshabilitada y no bloqueada por el administrador del sistema, habitualmente en forma de porcentaje a lo largo del da (24h)

    3.1. Call Completion Success Rate (CCSR)

    Se define como la probabilidad de soportar con xito una conexin, desde el acceso hasta la desconexin normal de la misma originada por el usuario final.

    Es el resultado de multiplicar la tasa de xito de establecimiento de la conexin por la probabilidad de retencin de la misma.

    Esta misma frmula aplica a todos los tipos de servicio (RAB).

    CDR: Call Drop Rate.

    3.2. Accesibilidad

    La Tasa de Llamadas Establecidas con xito (CSSR) se define como el producto de la tasa de xito de establecimiento de la conexin RRC y la de establecimiento del RAB.

    After an RRC Connection Request message is received by RNC, if not already known in the RNC, an internal UE identity is assigned to the requesting UE. Then RNC asks permission both from RNC Main Processor (MP) load control and admission control functions. Having received permission to continue, allocates a DL channelization code and then starts to set up a connection towards the RBS. Also the UE is requested to setup an RRC connection with RRC Connection Setupmessage. Once NBAP Radio Link Restore Indication message and RRC Connection Setup Complete message have been received by RNC, then the RRC connection is considered to be successfully established. The counter is now increased.

In case of multiRAB or multi signaling connection, the RRC Connection remains after that the signaling connection/RAB to one CN have been released and therefore the counter is not be increased. The counter is only increased the first time the RRC Connection Release is sent to the UE. (The RNC may transmit several RRC messages to increase the probability of proper reception of the message by the UE).

    Channel Switching Evaluation algorithms request the execution of a channel switch to UE Connection Control (UECC). The RRC signal Signaling Connection Release is initiated and the counter is increased. Only releases triggered by Channel Switching based on low user activity are counted.The counter is increased in the cells where the UE is located if the UE is non-drifting that is counted for all cells if UE is in macro diversity but only for the cells that belong to the SRNC.
