CATEGEORY 9 PROMOTIONAL DISPLAY - SHOWROOM DESIGN STATEMENT

The change in demand for contemporary kitchen designs of European influence was the main

inspiration behind this dazzling showroom kitchen design. The primary goal for this design was

to reveal the new white polyethylene terephthalate (P.E.T.) door finish, a very durable clear

topcoat that gives the white melamine door style the high gloss, high scratch resistance finish.

Contemporary styles as this kitchen display commonly portrays a minimalistic, sleek, and fresh

appearance with simple shapes, clean lines, striking color, and emphasis on contrast, texture,

and the abstract. A prime contemporary aspect of this kitchen can be seen in the textured dark

stained rift cut oak which is contrasting the white high gloss P.E.T. melamine doors while

complimenting the rectangular high-gloss-finished black-veined and exotic creamy zebrawood

shelves.

This kitchen exhibits the sink area as one focal point with the use of dark-stained, heavy open

shelves contrasting with an airy floating light bridge. Innovative accessories enclosed in the

sleek cabinet designs include the latest and most efficient means for kitchen storage, from roll

out shelves, tilt-out soap dishes, sink base drawers, roll out trash base, built-in compost storage,

utensil dividers, cutlery dividers, to Lazy Susans. The Servo Drive electric power assisted lift up

wall cabinet doors mirroring each other on either side of the curved hood present an additional

focal point and offer innovative and a contemporary features that offers ergonomic benefits

and greater efficiency.

The perimeter of the kitchen is dressed in a sparkling Lunar Ice quartz counter top by LG Viatera.

The custom edge melts away at a slant into the base cabinets, as especially designed and

fabricated for this particularly fresh display. A thirty-three inch stainless steel sink matched with

a chrome Richelieu single handle spray faucet complement the glistening sparkles in the quartz.

The floating island is framed by heavy, dark-stained rift cut oak panels, flush with the drawers

that silently join an oversized custom-made stainless steel pedestal. The stainless steel pedestal

supports the island’s dramatically thick white LG Viatera quartz counter top that rounds to

accommodate three to four people for a casual dining experience.

Overall, the combination of high gloss, dark-stain, textured grain rift cut oak, sleek stainless

steel, glistening chrome, dazzling countertops, ambient lighting, innovative accessories and

storage solutions makes this kitchen a stunning dreamscape.
