Each person in your family is different. So why put everyone in the

same color? Think of planning a color scheme- something that will

enhance the eye color and skin tone . Don’t be afraid to mix patterns

and be bold. The more color the more saturation in a photograph.

Tip #2 Be Accessorized!

When you have the perfect outfit, its time to accesorize! Earrings,

scarves, headbands, fun socks and jewelry will help bring together

Tip # 3Be Pampered!

Taking the time to take photographs is a big deal! Life is busy and

every moment is scheduled to the max. All the more reason to let the

experts take care of you so that you can look fabulous in your pho-

tographs. Hiring a make up artist and getting your hair professionally

styled not only will help you feel great about yourself but it will help

you look extra beautiful.

Tip #4Be Awarded!

Sometimes people feel as if getting family portraits is torture. Standing

still and following directions for hours are what is engrained many of

people’s physce. Truth is, with KimBe you will have fun and we will

work to erase those negative feelings. That being said, it is a great

idea to reward yourself with something after the session. Especially

with little ones who lose attention easily or it may be their first time.

Turn portrait sessions into a fun family activity with a great treat at the

end so that every is excited for each part of the photography session

as wellas the fun that continues once you leave. An ice cream outing

or extra time at a pool is a great incintive to keep everyone engaged.

Tip # 5Be Prepared!

When are you planning the best time to take photographs try to think

about outside factors. Like it might not be a good idea to schedule

a baby session on a day where they had a doctors appointment in

the morning. Think about what makes your children happy and what

throws them off schedule. Outside factors are a big deal when it

comes to photographs because how you feel on the inside will affect

how you feel on the outside.

Tip #6Be Relaxed!

Capturing this special time in your life is a monumental. You can

never get this very moment back. So relish in the great things that

make up you and your family. Enjoy the little quirks and celebrate the

good with the bad. So that when you come to your fabulous session

you will be so in love with who you all are that it will radiate through

every photograph. At KimBe we believe that every session has its

own ebbs and flow- we let the kids set the pace and are along for

the ride. So sit back, relax, have fun and most importantly enjoy the

experience.
