What is Content Management?

• Content management (CM) is the administration of digital content throughout its lifecycle, from creation to permanent storage or deletion. The content involved are images, video, audio and multimedia as well as text.

• The usual stages in digital content management are: Creation, Editing, Publishing, Oversight including managing updates and version control and Removal.

NOTE: PowerPoint’s AutoFit feature is turned off on all layouts. If content doesn’t fit into the allowed space, repeat the title and break up points on multiple slides.

Resource Portal Enhancements.

• Tweaked CSS code in HiveLive and customized settings to achieve the following enhancements.

• Updated Guidewire Product area panel with new icons.

• Formatted text content and Hyperlinks on the portal to mimic corporate website* styling.

• Successfully implemented renaming ‘Mobile and Portals’ to ‘Digital Portals’ in internal and external pages across the portal (Jira Ticket RP-183).

• Rebranding of internal pages (pages auto generated by document production system) (Jira Ticket RP-190)

Resource Portal Enhancements.



Vidizmo Video Portal.

• Built and Deployed from start to finish the Vidizmo video portal into Guidewire resource portal.

• Media Management: Edited, published and tagged videos under their specific categories ( Customer, Partners, Employees)

• Assigned access rights to each video.

• Standardized all video formats aspect ratio to maintain consistency.

• Reported glitches in the Vidizmo page and fixed them with the help of Vidizmo support.



Vidizmo Video Portal.

• Created videos that demonstrated the issues which Vidizmo support team were unable to generate.

• Reported bugs which affected functionality like the all three categories displayed when a customer logs in to Vidizmo page and the need to keep the ‘Auto publish’ toggle switch ‘off’ by default to prevent automatic publishing of content.

• Fixed glitches like ‘categorization’ and ‘access rights’ on the Vidizmo page post deployment.

• Manipulated reports from Vidizmo analytics and generated a list of Vidizmo users which were not able to access videos.



Vidizmo Video Portal


Rebranding Resource Portal and Documentation.

• Updated documentation on portal to reflect the enhancements and feature updates. (Example portal issue submission guide)

• Made design mockups of the front panel housing the Vidizmo page link and description and implemented it in test environment.

• Updated Banner and Icons on Vidizmo home page.

• Updated all icons of all products on the resource portal.



Testing and Content Creation.

• Vidizmo page testing. Built test cases using different browsers and login groups and test navigated workflows.

• Created scripts from existing videos using Google Chrome’s Web speech API and virtual cables software.

• Purchased audio video equipment and in process of regenerating current videos with better audio and video quality and propose ideas for new video creation for customer support.
