Baby Pack 'n goApp Design / Spring 2013 / Drake University

Baby Pack ‘n Go is an Android app created for parents and caretakers of

childern under the age of two. The app automatically generates packing lists

based on the trip duration, destination weather and child’s age.

For the magazine publishing class, we had to choose a company to “sponsor”

our magazine, then develop a business plan and design strategy for the

magazine. I chose to create Mashable magazine in digital version. This was

one of my first experiences with interaction design.

charge of all the technical parts of the project. I put the magazine on the iPad,

In spring of 2012, I assisted staff members of BitMethod, a start up in Des

Moines, to develop concepts, icons and wireframes for the 80/35 app, a music

festival held in Des Moines every summer.

For the 2012-2013 academic school year, I was the Art Director for DUH, a

campus publication at Drake Universtiy. DUH went through a brand change

while I was Art Director. Formerly known as Drake University Honors

Magazine, the magazine branched off from the Honors school to become

and official campus publication. I was in charge of coordinating and guiding

a team of photographers and designers, as well as developing the design

strategy for the magazine.
