The national average productivity of mango fruit plants in India is only 2-4 tons per acre as compared to the 15-20 tons per acre in Israel. The five times higher productivity in Israel is due to use of quality planting material, efficient use of water, fertigation technology, sensor based dynamic data management technology. Kapil Agro Farm India Pvt Ltd is the only company in India to practically implement the Israel technology of growing 12 varieties of fruit crops, with a focus on water harvesting, in Telangana State, under a long-term collaborative project, with Israeli farmers, since 2016.

Visitors can visit the Ultra High Density plantation site of the company at Sreeramnagar village, Moinabad Mandal, Rangareddy district, on Second Saturday and last Sunday of every month. Consultancy Charges : Rs 2,000 /- per visit for 1-5 persons. Rs 500 /- per person for above 5 persons. Price includes complete field visit, Tea and Snacks.

Kapil Agro Farm India Pvt Ltd has developed a complete protocol (SOP) for ultra high density plantation for all the major fruit crops of Telangana state like Mango, Guava, Citrus, Seethaphal, Sapota, Apple ber, Fig, Pomegranate, Jamun, Drumstick, Tamarind and Jack fruit in collaboration with the Israeli farmers under a project called “Ultra high density plantation of fruit crops in Telangana”. The research project is established in an area of over 50 acres with all the 12 fruit plants at Kapil Agro farm, in Sreeramnagar village Moinabad mandal, Rangareddy district, Telangana State. The plantation commenced in the year 2016. This plantation is only one of its kind in India with 12 fruit plants at over 500 plants per acre. Further, the company has indigenously developed the technique of raising the fruit crops in 3 feet height raised beds, to enable water harvesting. This technique has resulted in arresting the water flow out of the farm, increasing the infiltration and ultimately resulted in conservation of water below the ground. The raised bed has resulted in raising the ground water up to 50 meters, besides improving aeration for the trees. The company has developed technology for growing fruit crops in drought areas also.

This project is in 3rd year and has achieved over 50 % of its targeted yield and productivity with 50 % use of water, when compared with traditional system. The company has been able to actually see more crop per drop of water used at its Pilot Farm, at Sreeramnagar Village. The company is confident of achieving 100 % of targeted productivity. The company has achieved this by implementing the following technologies simultaneously.

After gaining hands on experience by way of actual cultivation and seeing results, Kapil Agro Farm India Private Limited is now ready to implement / transfer this technology under turnkey basis. The company has the capability of implementing ultra high density planting of fruit plants in any part of the India, with its state of art technology, in collaboration with our Israel counter parts.

- 4 Installation of the Dendrometer and Tensiometer, and scheduling Irrigation accordingly – ( only for ten acres and above of plantation )

- 5 Training of the plants at appropriate height as per the advice of the Principal Scientist. Training of trees and pruning every 3-4 months for 18 months.

- 6 Advice and application of plant protection measures for 24 months as per the advice of the Principal Scientist.

7 Advice and application of fertigation management every month as and when required by Principal Scientist.

8 Intercultural operations which includes weeding and cultivator or rotator as and when required.

9 Drip line maintenance every 3 months.

10 Our experts who have been trained by Israeli consultants, will visit the farm every month and implement the above SOP. The principal Scientist will visit every 3 months and our Israel expert may visit once in 18 months.

- V CONSULTATION AFTER 24 MONTHS

- 1 Consultation will be provided from 3rd year onward which includes advice on irrigation (based on phytech data management), fertigation and plant protection every month. Our experts who have been trained in Israel will visit the farm every month and advice. The principal Scientist will visit every 2 months and our Israel expert may visit the farm, if required.Further, complete field data management with our farm management soft ware kit as and when developed, for easy transparency.
