Kaleidoscope 2018Provided the opportunity for you to explore and experience the power of the ‘Intelligent Ecosystem’ and feel equipped to pivot wisely into the future. To succeed ‘In the New’ we must work together to solve our own and our client’s biggest challenges, to grow and innovate. Kaleidoscope 2018 was a celebration of the best that the Technology Ecosystem has to offer.

Together, we proved that we are the Intelligent Ecosystem:A living, breathing, intelligent network, powered by data, that can sense, comprehend, act and learn. At Kaleidoscope we experienced the power of the Intelligent Ecosystem, live. We dared to step inside and speak freely, with a connected crowd of innovators, ideators, designers, dreamers, technologists, revolutionaries and radical realists.

Kaleidoscope turned our Technology Vision into realityAccenture’s Tech Vision identifies key themes that are highly relevant to an organisation’s transformation within three years. Whilst these trends transcend any one technology or product, the innovations driven by the Technology Ecosystem are the key enablers and catalysts for these themes. 41 partners attended Kaleidoscope this year. They were selected based on the alignment of their products and services with the five 2018 Tech Vision themes. RESPONSIBILITY:Making sure AI systems operate and interact in the right way with people, and behave in ways which respect the accepted societal standards, norms and frameworks. 

EDUCATION:AI must be trained and taught, which means not merely ‘telling’ AI what to do, but truly educating it to know how to act, respond, communicate and behave, and making sure that the data used to train AI is free from corruption or bias.

TRANSPARENCY:For us to trust the decisions or recommendations that AI is making, we need to be able to understand how it arrived at the decision, which means opening up the ‘black box’, and explaining how AI works.

AI is at the tipping point of exponential growth, and we have an imperative to ensure we raise AI right, to play a positive, and responsible role in our society.

Enterprise Virtual Agent (EVA) is an Ethics/GDPR Virtual Assistant with AI and information extraction from electronic documents.

BENEFITS: An interactive Virtual Assistant for checking any policy, procedure or information source. This demo focuses on Robotic ethics and GDPR but it could be applied to nearly any source given data and training.

Video Indexer is a Microsoft cloud technology that takes any source video, identifies actors & scripts to tag content and context, creating video structure for querying.
