Greetings in the Name of Jesus! We are SO THANKFUL that we have a God that knows all that is going on in our world and has told us he will not put more on us than we can bear. We say this as we look at all the storms and deadly tornadoes sweeping across the South, floods in the North, severe drought in Texas, the cost of gas at all time highs, rising food prices, unemployment, and on and on. In the middle of all of the negativity and struggle, God is faithful to uphold us. Isaiah 41:10 should settle in our hearts God’s faithfulness and power to save: Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. We are giving out 500 daily devotional every quarter, we have requests come in from all over the country requesting devotionals for family members and friends, men and women in prisons and missions. These cost us $1.50 per copy when we hand them out.We would love to put thousands of them in the county jails and missions. If this would be something you would like to be a part of, when you make your donation to ITW, specify “Devotional” and we will make sure to buy and hand out more devotionals with your gift. Thank you tremendously for your support! When we say we need thousands of devotionals, to some that might sound like a lot; but, every year we have 100,000 men and women go through Harris County Jail. Obviously, not all of the inmates go to the church services, but many thousands do. The need is great and we know we have a God who is well able to meet this need.

Over the last three months we have held 98 services with over 500 salvations and hundreds of rededications to the Lord. We have had letters, e-mails, texts, and facebook contact with many of those who have been changed by the Word of God. We always express how thankful we are for your support of the ministry, but please always keep in mind, there are many more out there that if they could, would express their thankfulness as well.

Praise be to God! We have an ITW Advisory Board in place after 4 years of prayer (I am guessing God was waiting for the best!). This Team will be a great benefit of covering and support to ITW and our ministry going forward and as well as a personal blessing to us. We want to give them a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for their time, prayer, effort and support. We are always open for suggestions and help in taking ministry to the next level with opportunities for ministry, helpers in ministry and also fund raising ideas. Please let us know if you have any ideas to deepen and strengthen the needs met through In the Word Ministries.

...continued from page 1John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. This is not a time for fear, but for FAITH. John said let not your heart be troubled. That indicates to us that we have a responsibility to keep our eyes focused on Jesus. Jesus has an answer to every problem that satan throws at us. If there was ever a time to read, hear , and confess Psalms 91 it is now. If you have not read it lately, go check it out, draw strength from God’s Word. The world is watching and looking for some glimmer of hope, let it be you and me.

Your Missionary to America,

Pastor Larry Cooke
